Wearable breast pump recommendations

I’m just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for wearable breast pumps and what your experience has been like using them?

I’m currently exclusively breast feeding but find that it can be quite restrictive in terms of being able to go out without my baby! I’m hoping that if I can find a good pump then I can start to build up a bit of a supply but find navigating all the different types of pumps to be so overwhelming!!

Elvie, ive got 3 and theyre basically silent, you can connect the app and see how much you've pumped and set a timer, theyre slightly curved which means comfier to wear. Theres options of 3 different flange sizes, find they work really well for me, did have a tommee tippee perfect fit in bra but didnt like how chunky it was and didnt get half as much in a session as I do with these ones. Ill try find a link to the type I have x

Buy Elvie Single Electric Breast Pump | Breast pumps | Argos https://share.google/hl8M35KOvu9E0Nt9A

Personally I bought mine from vinted, all parts are cleaned and sterilized before use as I cant justify so much for one

Kissing babies 😩

(For context my son is in the NICU!)

Yesterday my mother in law kissed our son 😩😩 I was so shocked as I thought everyone knew you don't kiss a new baby let alone one born 3 months early and is in the NICU 😭😭 I did say to her "op, I don't think you're allowed to do that" and she apologised but I didn't want to make a scene or make it awkward as it was just me and her there, but I think she only thinks the no kissing applies to the NICU and not for when we're home aswell 😩

I told my husband but (no offence) as a man he didn't even know about this rule!! I have told him before especially when explaining about the RSV vaccine in pregnancy but baby was born so early I didn't have the chance to get that vaccine 😩

Not sure what I want from this post other than to rant 😩

Sleep 😫

Does anyone else’s little one struggle with sleep or start waking super early? Our little boy used to go to bed around 7.30pm and wake around 6–6.30am at best. But for the last 3–4 weeks he’s been waking anytime between 4.45–5.15am, which is getting pretty exhausting 😩

He’s 12.5 months old — could it be the heat, an age thing/sleep regression?

Night time nappies

I’m looking for tried and tested night time nappies as I’m losing my mind with the overnight leaks 😩
My little boy is now moving into size 3-4 depending on the brand and I feel since we’ve gone up a size, I can’t seem to find a nappy that doesn’t leak. He’s wet through then he struggles to go back to sleep after. Ive tried Tesco and Asda so far. Bonus points for budget friendly!

4 yo does not understand- you got to close your eyes to get back to sleep at 4am… who has this problem?

My 4 yo has always been a poor sleeper and early riser. If something wakes him at 4am the sleep pressure is too low for him to sleep easily and only extreme daddy cuddles in a black room works 😅 but otherwise he just wont close his eyes to go back to sleep… im sure if i took him in the car seat he might fall asleep but im not doing that!

My friends 6 yo does this too! Who else? My 1 yo has NP going back to sleep if dad is next to him, i just saw him sit up and look around n say daddy 545 am as i secretly crawled out the room. Went back 15 min later and 1 yo is fast asleep again… i dont think my hubby even moved or woke up!
