Hi girlies, I really need some advice. I’ve been trying to feed my baby for the past 3 months, but he refuses almost everything. I’ve tried different foods, textures, purées, and even baby-led weaning, but nothing has worked. The only thing he’ll eat is about 6–7 spoons of banana before he starts blowing raspberries or pushing the food out. Has anyone else been through this? I’m so stressed and worried because he’s starting to look weak. Any advice would be appreciated 💛

milk is the most important at this age, food is for fun💗 keep trying little bits at a time just a few spoonfuls everyday maybe some blw as well like you have been, he’ll get there, my oldest wasn’t interested in food until a year at least, you’re doing great💗 if you’re worried about his weight ect contact the GP or some areas have local health centres or baby groups that offer baby weigh ins just to put your mind at ease 💗xx

Try letting him play and explore all the new foods put a bit on his high chair tray let him play with it with his hands then he might put his hands in his mouth and he will get a taste of it! Food is fun until 1 Breast milk and formula is their main source sustinence until 1

Yes, mine refuses pretty much everything and he’s my second baby, my first was a pretty good self feeder. This baby doesn’t seem to like food on any form, all he likes is milk 😂 he picks up the food I give him and puts it in my mouth and spits out purees😵💫
I just keep offering for exposure, he’ll get into it sooner or later.
If yours is dropping centile lines and you’re worried he’s not getting enough milk, speak to your GP xx

I don’t have much advice but my first was like this. She barely ate any solids when we started weaning at 6 months old. Then one day at about 10/11 months it was like she woke up one morning ready to eat food and she’s been a great eater ever since. I remember being so stressed and scared she would never eat so sending solidarity and comfort. Sounds like you’re doing a great job continuing to offer a variety of different foods xx
