Help! I'm trying and failing at raising my child with a mood disorder and I'm at my wit's end

I need a mom to talk to ASAP because my husband is always busy at work and want to ask for advice I get nothing back. Technically this is his daughter but I've been raising her since she's one and she's had a mood disorder since I met her. She literally acts like she has a devil in her and I'm at my Wit's end she's 8 years old now and I can't even get to 8:00 a.m. without some kind of major catastrophe going on. I have three other kids and she has become verbally abusive to them and I want her out of this house and I don't know what to do. I want to send her back to live with her mom but my husband is 100% against that but he's not the one taking care of her and I've explained that to him and he tells me he'll find somebody to come take care of her and he never does. This morning I'm so angry I just need someone to vent to and I called him and he's literally acting irritated that I'm calling him about his own fucking daughter. I need to vent I need a mom who understands. I can't see waves so please just send a message if you have time to talk to me and give me some advice I would really appreciate it. I literally have no one around here I live in a small town and my husband is a narcissist so he's ruined every relationship I've made here and I literally have no one. 😭

I was this 8 year old kid. Counseling. Finding someone the child can unravel what is causing this rage is important especially before puberty happens. I also get the isolation from narcissistic abuse. Please feel free to message me even just to vent. I’ll send you my number you can call and yell and cry and I’m here.

Definitely find her someone to talk to. My daughter was acting the same way when she was around that age and the therapist helped tremendously.

Kissing babies 😩

(For context my son is in the NICU!)

Yesterday my mother in law kissed our son 😩😩 I was so shocked as I thought everyone knew you don't kiss a new baby let alone one born 3 months early and is in the NICU 😭😭 I did say to her "op, I don't think you're allowed to do that" and she apologised but I didn't want to make a scene or make it awkward as it was just me and her there, but I think she only thinks the no kissing applies to the NICU and not for when we're home aswell 😩

I told my husband but (no offence) as a man he didn't even know about this rule!! I have told him before especially when explaining about the RSV vaccine in pregnancy but baby was born so early I didn't have the chance to get that vaccine 😩

Not sure what I want from this post other than to rant 😩

Sleep 😫

Does anyone else’s little one struggle with sleep or start waking super early? Our little boy used to go to bed around 7.30pm and wake around 6–6.30am at best. But for the last 3–4 weeks he’s been waking anytime between 4.45–5.15am, which is getting pretty exhausting 😩

He’s 12.5 months old — could it be the heat, an age thing/sleep regression?

Night time nappies

I’m looking for tried and tested night time nappies as I’m losing my mind with the overnight leaks 😩
My little boy is now moving into size 3-4 depending on the brand and I feel since we’ve gone up a size, I can’t seem to find a nappy that doesn’t leak. He’s wet through then he struggles to go back to sleep after. Ive tried Tesco and Asda so far. Bonus points for budget friendly!

4 yo does not understand- you got to close your eyes to get back to sleep at 4am… who has this problem?

My 4 yo has always been a poor sleeper and early riser. If something wakes him at 4am the sleep pressure is too low for him to sleep easily and only extreme daddy cuddles in a black room works 😅 but otherwise he just wont close his eyes to go back to sleep… im sure if i took him in the car seat he might fall asleep but im not doing that!

My friends 6 yo does this too! Who else? My 1 yo has NP going back to sleep if dad is next to him, i just saw him sit up and look around n say daddy 545 am as i secretly crawled out the room. Went back 15 min later and 1 yo is fast asleep again… i dont think my hubby even moved or woke up!

This damn heatwave

Giving me such bad anxiety. My baby is drinking roughly a similar amount of milk as she usually does but the wet diapers have reduced so much. I introduced a little bit of water yesterday as a part of her nappy had somewhat of a darker yellow colour.

I am always on edge waiting to see whether my baby has a wet nappy. I try to keep the room as cool as I can with a fan but I think I'm going to buy one of those portable AC units just in case we get more heat waves.

I also just feel so disgusted and sloppy during this time - I'm just consumed with worry.

Last heatwave, my baby also did not produce anywhere near the same amount of wet nappies she usually does but was fine after the heatwave. I just get worried she will now get dehydrated
