So I had a midwife appointment today, I am 34+2 with my second child.
They said that the baby is now head down and 'engaged' .. does that mean the chances are he/she might be early?

No. They can be like that for weeks or even slip and and out of that position. I had both my kids in the 41st week (almost 42nd with my eldest!) and they were engaged by 34 weeks.
No. It was the same with me. ☺️
No, my son was head down before 30 weeks and I was induced at 38 weeks. They can always change position
