Workout routine

Hey yall!! I’m about 3 months PP and I’ve been feeling really insecure about how I look after twins, I need to get into the gym, I was slowly starting to get into the gym before I got pregnant and I’ve lost my spark when it comes to being active, o use to run daily or walk daily, workout do all types of stuff, but now I feel lazy lol especially now that I’m a sahm, what can I do to get desired results, I have a gym in my apartments and also some yoga equipment but when I’ve tried yoga prior to pregnancy I didn’t get results. Also if anyone had a c section, were you able to do hardcore workouts once you were cleared?

Hey lovely! You look amazing and congrats on your babies 🥰 you’re only 3 months PP so please don’t put too much pressure on yourself!

Start off with a ten minute walk every day, no pressure. Just start implementing something small every day and then once that’s apart of your routine, add another thing and so on. 🤍

Once you’re abit more active you should feel abit more motivated to move your body.

I didn’t get active til 5 months PP, I was so tired and unmotivated! 🫠

So great that you have a gym in your apartment, I’m jealous! Definitely take advantage of that!

If you want to lose weight at the same time as doing minor workouts/exercise you could do a calorie deficit. I personally did keto at 8 months PP which dropped all my bloating & water weight that was hanging around that wouldn’t go, and that is what kinda boosted my weightloss/PP body journey 🙏🏽

How do I (politely) tell my friend that she can come to my house if she wants to hang out so badly?

My best friend is a SAHM with two older children, and I’m a working mom with an older child and a newborn. I’m on maternity leave right now, and my friend keeps asking me to come hang out but I’m not really sure how to politely explain that I really don’t want to go hang out at her house. I’m trying to enjoy my time at home for as long as I have it, and it’s also just in general a really big hassle to have to pack up my newborn and go sit at someone else’s house for the day. I feel like it’s a little bit unfair that she hasn’t really come to our place at all, when she’s even got live-in child care if she needed it. I don’t want to come off rude or snippy, but doesn’t it make more sense that the person with the newborn shouldn’t have to do all the traveling? For the record, the last time we hung out I did go to her house.

Military spouses/military contractor spouses

My husband works for a military contractor and is not at liberty to discuss ANYTHING with me and cannot even state if he is stressed at work. I am reaching out to other women whose spouses work under extreme stress and cannot discuss anything to help me understand and vent….

Do you feel as though you should tell your partner…

Everything. Such as what you need, want or what bothers you?

Or is that something they should be astute to in some cases? Like should they care enough to notice certain things?

Is it odd for MIL to buy a father's day gift for my husband?

It was for his first father's day

Feeling so low today

I feel like ive hit a really low emotional wall today. Maternity leave feels so lonely sometimes and I dont really have any other mum friends with babies of a similar age to talk to who or hang out with. My partner and all my friends are at work and im just at home with my baby while my oldest is at nursery. Ive been crying a little things and I just feel stupid 🤦‍♀️
