So, is it just me that was sold the lie that newborns are the hardest??
My boy is nearly 8 months and fk me I find it hard. He is genuinely the best thing in the world but my patience is stretched so thin with the noise! I had no idea the impact it would have on my nervous system. Recently Iāve had thoughts of regretting becoming a mummy and it makes me so sad.
Heās never slept through the night so I know sleep deprivation doesnāt help. In fact the past 2 nights have been waking every hour between 1-5am.
Does it get better????????

God yeah š luckily he sleeps quite well considering but the day time is chaos. Iāve decided to title myself the ācrime preventionā everything he canāt do due to possible injury. Like wires and stuff, thatās all he wants to do. Heās also figured we have stairs and is now wanting to get up them š itās like heās turned into a toddler within a week lol

It does, mines nearly 8m heās had a bit where ge wonāt go down or wakes up at stupid o clock but heās back to sleeping all night, I cut down how many naps he has during the day, started making sure heās full from dinner and giving him 10 mins of playing with toys or climbing over me before bed to tire him out that bit extra & Iāve put my Alexa in his room to play lullabies seems to have done the trick for now

Donāt know why newborns get such a bad name, they just sleep.
When the rolling, crawling and pulling up starts itās such hard work! Itās relentless. They start to teeth and you have to figure out what to feed them, itās hard. It gets easier in my opinion and the sleep gets better!
