Anyone else’s baby fight the 2nd nap so much?
I have tried naps at 2pm consistently & it’s so hard so I moved it sooner to 1:50pm for a few days but then she wanted to play so I then tried moving it to 2:15 & then she was back to fighting it so much.
I have done the changes gradually & tried it for a week at a time & nothing seems to help.
I know it’s early but I have thought about changing her to one nap but I am just so unsure on what to do. Has anyone moved to one nap?

Yes I try baby lullabies on my Alexa

Was just walking to another September mom about this, this morning…with teething, new foods and movement and new skills, it’s a lot for them and I think the nap fight is just a phase…we have been trying to give him lots of floor time bc flipping to his tummy to “play” has become the biggest nap distraction. Any steps you take to workout has before sleeping can help too

I have a 10-month-old, and I stopped fighting with naps. Instead, I learned to watch her behavior and follow her sleep cues. She's a very active baby, so her naps can vary—sometimes she'll sleep for just 45 minutes, and other times she'll nap for 2.5 hours.
For example, if she wakes up around 7:30 a.m., she'll usually be ready for her first nap between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m. I keep her active during her wake window and make sure she's well-fed before her nap, which seems to help her sleep longer.

Most of the time my September baby is only having 1 2hr nap at around 2/3pm xx
