So I recently just moved back into my dads house bc my husband wants a divorce and I just found my ultrasounds from 20w 5d and I was wondering if anyone else is genuinely missing there baby being in there belly instead of not and if you guys also hate how fast they are growing up.

My baby had IUGR and arrived at 30 weeks so I almost get a ptsd type feeling when I think about being pregnant and the idea that she wasn’t thriving inside me lol. But she will be a year old in 8 days and I’m constantly sad when I think about how fast time is going

Yes and no. It's complicated feelings because I struggled so much mentally when I was pregnant but I loved growing my sweet little man. He is nearly 5 now and my heart can't cope with how quick he is growing.

I read somewhere it’s so heartbreaking to be a mother. As you are always saying goodbye to a stage of your children you will never get back. However, I also believe we are lucky to witness all the stages of their lives. We get to keep the memories with us to look back on. It’s bittersweet. For now just enjoy being with your little one. 💕

Absolutely. My baby came 2 months early so I feel cheated out of most my 3rd trimester and everything that came along with it.

And im so sorry to hear about your divorce. I went through mine a few years ago. Im here if you need to talk or vent or anything. 🩵

Growth scan referral at 28 weeks

I left my 28 week midwife appointment today feeling really down and alone. I’ve been referred for a growth scan as the bump/fundal measurement is below the 5th centile. The midwife said the measurement usually isn’t accurate and the scan should be reassuring, but it will be almost a week before I have it and I’m left wondering if there is something wrong and I’ve been told to look out for various symptoms (preeclampsia etc) in the meantime. I’ve asked to bring my perinatal mental health appt forward (I had PPD after a preterm birth with my first) as my mood has been really down recently and just left feeling really unsupported. I was told to go to A&E if I have suicidal thoughts in the meantime and that was that. Just looking for some reassurance and support really as I feel really lost and sad - has anyone else been referred for a growth scan and it’s been fine?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice and to hear from other parents who may have experienced something similar.

My baby boy is 5 weeks old and I’ve noticed that he sometimes has jittery movements, where his whole body seems to jerk a few times. It doesn’t happen at any particular time or follow a specific pattern.

He also cries, strains and turns red in the face before having a bowel movement.

Has anyone else experienced this with their newborn? Is this kind of jitteriness normal at this age, or is it something I should be concerned about?

Hi, i am a second time mom (soon to be second time mom). i had my daughter via vaginal birth and my son is frank breech so ive opted to have a c section. ive done so much research and ive also read a lot of positive c section stories. i am scared and nervous about it. ive never had surgery before. i am also worried about spontaneous labor as this is the week my water broke with my daughter. idk what to expect, idk what to ask or anything. any advice, tips, what to ask at my ob appt tmr would be fantastic ! i want to get on top of everything. thank you :)

Baby measuring big - 28 weeks 😭

Baby is measuring 3lbs 4oz which is >99th percentile. They scheduled repeat growth scan in 4 weeks. Anyone else experiencing this?

This is my 3rd baby and I’m taking my glucose test tomorrow. I passed the initial glucose test at 14 weeks. Never had GD with my other pregnancies. First baby they thought was going to be big had to do a bunch of extra scans and he came out 7lbs 3oz. Second baby was 8lbs 12oz but didn’t flag anything during routine scans.
