Hiya first time mum here!
When your waters broke did you have a feeling they were going to go before they did or did they just break out of nowhere?

Mine broke out of no where at 6:30am it literally feels like you’ve had a bath and water is still dripping off you. Some people may have braxon hicks leading up to Labour but I never did. The whole thing came out of no where. It should be a clear fluid with no oder

Mine broke without a warning whilst having my tea and it felt like someone popped a waterballoon inside of me and next thing i could just feel loads of liquid coming out

I was laying on the couch and just felt a pop (not painful, kind of like a big kick) and then almost like a BIG period gush feeling and I shot up off the couch and just looked at my husband whilst looking like I was peeing on the floor... "my waters have just broke!" .... look of panic on his face. Then I went and stood in the shower (do the towel floss walk when moving without absorbent pants on) and washed myself off and every time I moved, more kept gushing. You can tell it is much thinner than period blood, but it is warm, like you have wet yourself. Just stick an adult nappy on after standing in the shower for a little bit to get most of it. You will most likely have a while to go after that point anyway (unless your contractions say otherwise) so dont panic if that happens and get clean and dry. Call your midwife and get next steps!
Good luck 🥰

When mine broke it was just none stop gushing x

Came out of nowhere 6am woke up gushing out!

Broke without a warning both times. But both times I heard the pop as it happened like a water balloon bursting in your hand😅

I don't know if this is tmi but I started losing my mucus plug and then around 1-2hrs later I started having contractions. I was in labour for 26 hours but my waters never broke. The midwives ended up breaking them before birth. I remember seeing some of my waters hitting the midwife's face and me apologising profusely 🫠

Nope. Broke randomly at 34 weeks and had a safe premature delivery.
