True colors

Me and my bf have a 2 month old. We moved out of our home town 3 years ago and closest family is 2.5 hours away. I have 3 friends I use to see often. All of us use to work together but after 2 years I was the only one still at the job, that I quit after I had our daughter. So my daughter was going through this faze where she only wanted me to hold her. Rarely did she let even he dad hold her. Now she really liked one of my friends but I think it was due to her being pregnant because she seemed draw to pregnant women. My MIL was up and my daughter wasn't a big fan. I asked my friend who was toddler free for a week if she could come over and help me while her son was out of town. I asked if she could come Friday she said her son came back that day sp I asked about Thursday. Said id come get her, buy her lunch and take her home. I just needed her to watch my daughter for a few hours while I cleaned up my house. Ny dresser had fallen over broke and all my clothes had fallen in the hallway leading to my bedroom. She.said "probably not, my husband said he has a surprise and to be ready by 5pm...." am i wrong to want to cut off contact with her due to her blowing me off when I asked for help?

So I was trying to seduce my husband because he was standing in the bedroom doorway when I took my nightgown off he just gave me a look that broke me he looked so disgusted by me now I'm left crying alone in the bedroom I don't know if its just my pregnancy hormones overreacting or if he actually gave me that look idk what to do

Had an old pair of swim trunks lying around that don’t fit anyone in the house anymore so naturally I had to turn them into a cute reversible, waterproof, sun hat for the splash pad this summer!!

How do you guys come up with new dinner ideas? For me coming up with something to make is way, way harder than actually cooking. Can you put suggestions in the comments?

as someone with 3 children all under 4 i. can’t work as of yet? but

if you are on benefits how does it work? are you better off ect

BD has blocked all lines of communication

39+5 days pregnant and the baby’s father has blocked me everywhere, even on phone. He has abandoned the pregnancy twice, written awful messages including narrative changing, false accusations and name calling, so naturally he is not my favourite person, however I did want to inform him once his child is born. His enabling family has also blocked me.

I have been respectful and kind throughout this abandonment but set clear boundaries around consistency and emotional safety for obvious reasons.

For me and my moral and values, I want let him know of his child’s arrival. I want to be able to look my child in the eye years from now and say that I did everything I could, I did myself proud and him blocking me everywhere has taken that away from me.
