I have been cooped up all day with my son because of air quality warnings and it’s been a lot grumpy day day and my husband gets home from work and also seems grumpy so he goes to the bathroom for like half an hour and then comes out a d I’m like hey can you start [our son’s] bath? I am just waiting for something to be done in the oven then I can take over. So he starts it and then a couple minutes later he comes out and sits on the couch and goes on his phone and PULLS A BLANKET over himself I’m like ??? I’m not done in the kitchen yet and he’s like ya he’s fine I’m like … what are you talking about he needs supervision. He’s like why (I mentally checked out here because obviously I’ll just have to do it myself) snd was like uh cause he could get hurt and my husband said and what would me being in there do … so I just stopped responding to him and went and did my sons bath. Am I being even remotely unreasonable? No he couldn’t see the bath, no he wasn’t just grabbing a towel or something from the other room, just lazy

I’d be FLIPPING MY SHIT sorry

Absolutely not. I would have gone off my nut at him. And also would have never trusted him to do solo parenting ever again.

Fucking hell, this guy is a parent?????

I clicked no before realising hell no was an option

I’d have absolutely lost my shit and screamed at him. That’s unbelievable. Sorry but what an arse

The most I do when my toddler is in the bath is start or move over a load of laundry bc my washer is literally right in front of the bathroom so I can turn around and c my toddler and talk to him during the process but leaving the whole area and getting all coming would set me off like come on just sit with ur child for 5-10 minutes

Throw the whole husband away WHAT
