My 8 week old refuses to take bottle , have tried several different brands Philips, Dr.Brown. She is also a frequent eater so feeds every hour . Whenever I go out I need to breastfeed her . I feel a little uncomfortable , just wanted to share my feeling. I love going out having food and enjoying, but it seems to get a little uncomfortable specially in the public areas. Anyone else relating to it?

i was a little scared to breastfeed in public when i first started because i didn't know how people would react to me, i was a little embarrassed. then i heard a mom say "would you want to eat in the restroom?" then i changed my mindset. now i just whip it out😂

FEED THAT BABY. Fuck anyone who gives you weird looks for real. I’m actually just waiting for the day someone gives me a nasty look or makes a nasty remark because I promise I am not the one.

I will be honest I have extreme anxiety but I have fed my babe in public a couple of times now and the only time I got nasty looks was in a restaurant...I'm not sure if it was cause she was crying at first or what but so many mean looks. I ended up just leaving early cause of my anxiety but otherwise I have had good experiences. Most people don't mind and if they do then just ignore them! I personally just struggle with anxiety in general so I use a cover usually that helps me feel better.

Yes try a wider nipple but tbh don’t sweat it no one rlly cares feed ur baby it’s normal to feel uncomfortable but it’s ok it’s normal to breastfeed and if it helps bring a blanket or baggy shirt to put baby under or find a safe space but rlly if u need wip em out in the middle of a Walmart to feed baby do it feeding ur baby is more important if people give u problems tell them to respectfully fuck off
