What made you decide to formula feed or breastfeed your baby?
No hate I’m just genuinely wondering what works best for you as a mom.
I breastfeed my little and lots of women in my family act angry about it as if it inconveniences them somehow.. anyone else have the same issue?

We primarily breastfeed but since I am not able to pump without getting an infection we formula feed if I am busy. Although most of my clients have been super positive and nice about my breastfeeding during our training sessions. I am 2 months into my 3rd baby.

The idea of breastfeeding just made me uncomfortable . I formula feed and pump instead so he still somewhat get breast milk but just not directly from the breast ?

I wanted to breastfeed my first so bad. However I knew I wasn't feeding him enough, he didn't have wet diapers for a few days so I put him on formula and didn't try breastfeeding again. Then I got pregnant when he was 3 months and I knew with my daughter I wouldn't breastfeed because of the chaos of 2 under 2. Well my milk did come in for her and I had to dry up my milk.
I'm sorry your family is behaving that way, I had the opposite where a few family members seemed disappointed in me for taking the formula route.

With my daughter I was a teen mom and didn’t know really. I tried breast milk and would sometimes feed formula and then eventually just stopped.
6 years later I’m trying to exclusively breastfeed my son. We’ve had issues with dairy allergy, reflux, and consequently supplementing after some feeds with pumped milk which has been a job to feed, pump, clean, etc.
My mom especially says I’m making it harder for everyone when I vent I’m overwhelmed. I’m not against formula. My daughter is 6 and thriving but I wanted to this time around after learning and educating myself and it can be discouraging especially from mom that it’s an inconvenience I can’t leave him to do certain things because he needs me there to eat
