When did everyone leave their baby for the first time and how was it? My little girl is 3 months old and I’ve never been apart from her. Not even for an hour. My anxiety is so bad around leaving her and I genuinely don’t know when I’m going to be able to do it.. Advice please? 🤍

2 months old. Now 4 months. He was with his nan. It was nice to have a break but I still miss him even if we're getting him back the following morning

2.5 years overnight when I went to hospital to have my second baby.. I still wasn’t ready and would never leave him again overnight out of choice.
For a few hours - almost a year when he started settling sessions for nursery.
Everyone is so so different though.
It’s perfectly biologically normal to want to be close to your baby, do what feels right for you and ignore everything else. As she gets older you may find you relax a little.. she’s still so small! Enjoy her x

I have to start leaving her at 6 months in November for two days a week for work and I am sooooooo scared and sad. 😞 I need to put aside the thought that she won’t be well with anyone but myself

Longest ive left my 3 month old is 5/6 hrs with my mum whilst i moved house, everyones different tho, would be nice to have a night off soon as a single mum, but i just don't feel ready yet tbh

I left my little girl (4mo) with my mum when she was 2 months old for 2 hours to have a date night with my husband and I cried the entire time. She hasn’t been left since because I have so much anxiety and also I really don’t want to leave her. X

My little boy was 2 weeks old when he stayed at my mums for the first time, she was my birthing partner and helped a lot so I had so much trust in her, my partners mum had my little boy at 3 months old , I miss him and I have PPA but I had things booked from before I was pregnant, luckily I was able to pump my milk and we were combi feeding anyway

My girl is 4 months, not sure if you mean leave them with anyone within or outside of the household but I leave her at home with her dad for 2/3hrs once every few weeks to get my nails done/ wax appointment etc. Leaving her with anyone outside the household I haven’t felt comfortable doing just yet, not sure when I’ll be ready but if you have a trustworthy person (your mum/baby’s other nan or a close sibling who’s also a parent and knows how to care for a small baby) then you should try it if needed. The first time I left her and my husband at home I was a mess, second time a mess and from then on it’s been fine, they know to expect my calls lol
