It’s definitely a blessing! Mashallah that she sleep through the night and i wouldn’t wake her if it’s not too hot, for my lil one wakes every 1-1.5 hours for his feed 😅

I was advised by my HV (during the heatwave should add) that once they have surpassed their birth weight you can let them sleep. As long as they’re gaining weight and eating plenty during the day then all good. My nine week old has been doing 4-5 hour stretches in the night for the last 2 weeks and gaining weight even when it was still v hot. Down to only one wake up which has been a nice change. Enjoy the longer sleep I say!

Mine sleeps throughout the whole night and I let her - she is all healthy alhamdulillah so I don’t see the need to be waking her up, I’m sure she would wake up if she was hungry.

As far as I was told, once birth weight hit let them sleep. My 8 week old did 7 hours in one sleep last night! I slept through but my husband woke up multiple times to check she was still breathing as couldn't believe she was going for so long! 🤣

I don't wake my baby at all haven't done since day 5 after she was born and back up to birth weight, she would sleep 10-4 and then 4.30-9 but since 10 days old sleep 9pm-8am every night.

i don’t wake my 8 week old for night time feeds anymore. We usually go to sleep around half 10/11 and do his last feed then and he sleeps through until about 3/4 and then again at 6/7

Rolling…

14 week baby started rolling 2 weeks ago, this morning I have found him face down (I panicked straight away and turned him on his back) - he was fine. 5 mins later he is sound asleep on his side!

He can’t roll front to back yet. Neck control is improving daily but I’m terrified to sleep now.

Any advice welcome🥲

Parenting styles

Am i in the wrong? So for context, me and my boyfriend have different parenting styles. I prefer to discipline our daughter by calmly explaing what she did wrong, asking her to apologise and make sure the persons okay whereas my boyfriend prefers to raise his voice so she starts crying and pyt her in time out and tell me im not allowed to go "save" her. I don't feel there's a need to put her in timeout and make her cry, i feel like it's just creating unnessecary trauma. He keeps complaing that i'm disipline her properly and that i'll soon learn why we don't take her out of timeout and why we shout and apparently i'm making her hate him by being the gentler parent but i know she loves her dad so much. What do you guys think?

Future kid on the news?

Ok y’all I hope my emotional brain is telling me some bad information!
My logic brain is quietly saying “nooooooo???”

My anxiety brain is telling me that my 14 month old
* Biting me until I bruise
* RUNNNING to bite EVERYONES toes
* pulling my hair and my husbands hair like he has a CLUMP of hair in his hand
* ripping off my glasses and immediately putting them in his mouth to lick them

I’m saying no firmly no smiles or anything.

He is DYING LAUGHING.

Is he going to grow up and hurt others?

Overthinking

I’m 1 month postpartum and I can’t stop overthinking everything I do for my self, like I wanna wear jeans but when I put them on I take them right off because I start overthinking on if I’m gonna irritate something and bleed again and its mentally exhausting.. any other moms do this?

How do I put my baby down?!

We are 6wks and he still refuses to be put down. I’ve given up on the Moses basket and am trying to co- sleep but every time I put him down he wakes instantly. I’m exhausted and I know it’s not safe him constantly sleeping on me…
