Be honest, when do you see a trans person as the gender they're transitioning to? [When do you see a trans woman as a woman? When do you see a trans man as a man?]

I don't mean when you start respecting them as that gender, I mean when your brain sees them and automatically thinks of them as that gender.

Be kind, I will report anything hateful, I am simply curious.

I’ve met many trans people and my brain still has to correct itself.

As soon as I’m aware that they are trans

I think as a species our brains are programmed to see "male" and "female" so we have to consciously correct our brain and thinking. Whether this will still happen in 50/100 years, who knows.

I can switch pronouns immediately but visually seeing them as their gender might be hard for my brain if they look like the stereotypical other gender, like if a very stereotypically manly looking man tells me they’re a trans woman but don’t change their appearance at all that might be hard at first but I haven’t experienced it so I’m not sure! I think personality and mannerisms matter a lot, I’ve had plenty of male friends who are gay or just feminine in personality but not appearance, and it doesn’t take long for my brain to start thinking of them as one of the girls and completely forget they’re actually boys lol so I don’t think it would be that difficult

Marriage

2 days before our daughter was born, my husband's ex messaged him. He was very open about it. Personally, I would've hit block right away but he claimed he needed closure. He messaged her in front of me then hit block. He reassured me he loves me, it brought up no old feelings. Blah, blah, blah. A week after our baby was born I found out he unblocked her. He said it was so she could see his profile picture and see how good he's doing. There were no messages. Well, that made me suspicious.. Couple weeks later I go through his old phone which still has access to his email. I find out he made a fake snapchat the day after his ex first messaged him. Which was the day before our daughter was born. When I asked him about it, he gave me his word it's not his. That he's not dumb enough to make a fake account with his main email. This went on for days where he made me feel crazy for accusing him of having a fake snapchat. Well, day 3.. That fake snapchat is permanently deleted. He said he emailed snapchat support and told them someone was using his email. I was like that's funny considering it happened once I found out about it. So I told him to show me the messages to snapchat support. That's when the truth came out that he did in fact have a fake snapchat account. He swore up and down that he never cheated but we all have different definitions of cheating. I told him to recover it but he says because there's nothing on there, I'm just going to accuse him of deleting it all. It has been almost a month now and I'm even more upset about it because it was made the day after his ex hit him up. So was he talking to her on there? There were 3 females I had seen message him. I messaged all them asking about it and none of them will respond. And the way he lied for 3 days!!!! That's not the man I married. Has this whole marriage been a lie? I don't trust him at all anymore. Yesterday, he had gotten upset with me saying I'm making him out to be a villain when he's not. Uhhh, what?? I have nowhere to go. Our daughter is only 7 weeks old. It's been a lot.

MUMS I NEED YOUR OPINIONS

Hi all!! I am trying to start my own business and I want to know mum to mums, if there was a candle company with relatable candles like firstly for some new mums ‘processing childbirth trauma’ which is a milky white candle, smelling, sweet baby powder with notes of clean linen and vanilla

Then I have ones for the mums with toddlers, even us mums struggling with our (let’s face it) unsupportive partners that are called, ‘Just put the kids to bed’ and ‘Put your shoes away!’ ™️

Do you have any recommendations on what moments are relatable to you or even just some feedback on my ideas already would be amazing!

I have so many ideas but I want to know if this reaonates with anyone, if they were affordable would you buy them? Would you appreciate them as a gift?

Thank you!!!

Bad mom

Maybe I'm a bad mom, idk. There's not a day that goes by I don't regret having my child. They're almost 2. I've been with them every day since they were born. The family we have close to us have proven to be untrustworthy. I'm just tired. Even if someone was to watch them and I get a break they're still my child at the end of the day. I genuinely hate my life. I miss my old life, my old body, my freedom. I hate this. I never wanted kids, my husband never wanted kids. I went to see an OB for pcos and was given an ultimatum that ended with me being pregnant. Regardless they're here and I'm stuck and I can't change it so I'm miserable all the time.

Am I alone in this? Have you felt like this but gotten over it?

Being a mum

I’m a mum to a 2 year old with no help or support the dad used to see them but just proved yet another person can’t be trusted, what even is this generation of lack of humanity, I’m so exhausted I have insomnia and adhd and I am so tired constantly and people say nap and I do and I wake up to her ripping my baby scan pictures up and on top of the tv stand, body launching herself on me she starts nursery in September so I’ll get a little bit of a break. I have no friends like at all
