My son eats at 4:30 at nursery, he’s not usually hungry for dinner at home but 4:30 to morning is too long

My little boy has a snack at 3/3:30 of fruit and rice cake (or something similar sometimes its toast/cracker). He then has whatever we are having for dinner around 5:30/6 ish.
So maybe offer your little boy something around 6 ish but as a snack rather than full dinner.

They do a light dinner at 3:30 at my sons nursery so I do him a mini dinner once he’s home around 6

Mine has dinner at 4:30 and then he eats another smaller dinner at 6:00 at home.

Mine has tea at 4 (sandwiches/smaller portions of pasta bakes) at the nursery, dinner with us at 7 and a milk bottle before bed.

My little boys nursery does main dinner at lunchtime and they they have a tea around 3.30 so he always needs something else before bed. I tend to do some picky bits for him around 5/5.30 which then sees him through the night.

Our nursery does 4:30pm as well, but we wouldn't usually eat at home until 6:30pm. We usually just offer a bowl of porridge as a supper instead of a full dinner, unless they've refused food at the nursery

Yes 🤣 my daughter will have a pasta bake and still demand a full dinner when we eat! They serve tea at 4ish and we eat around 6ish. She's just a hungry girl 🤷♀️
