Spicy time after a C-section

How long did everyone wait after a section to get back into bed? Everything I’ve read says around 6 weeks but I’m not even 2 weeks pp and so ready! Obviously I don’t want to do any damage but I don’t have my ‘6 week’ appointment until 8 weeks. That’s too long!

My midwife said I could at my 2/3 week (midwife discharge) appt as long as I felt okay, we did it yesterday at 1 month pp :)

I think there is risk of infection and damage to the internal healing. Also bleeding? I’m still bleeding on and off at 4 weeks, with my first this went on for 6, it would stop and start. Good on you for feeling up for it! 🤪

They say 6 weeks due to there being a dinner plate sized internal wound that needs to heal. Definitely wait until you’ve finished bleeding as 6 weeks is only a guideline. Remember it’s definitely not worth an infection for the sake of a few weeks!

Induction at 37 weeks

I understand every pregnancy is different, but I’m curious. For those who were induced at 37 weeks, what was your experience like and how long did it take? This is my second pregnancy, my first induction was at 40 weeks, and my body was a lot more ready to go, so he came out fairly quickly. We will be induced in a couple days, my cervix is at zero, and only 20% effaced but he is at least pretty far down. 😅

We have discussed the possibility of needing a C-section and my C-section unfortunately would have to be completely under sedation as I cannot get any form of epidural or spinal.

First c-section.. unplanned

Hey mamas

I just had an emergency c-section and now I’m at home struggling how to get out of bed and not use my abdomen, sitting or laying back on the couch to put baby to sleep and struggling to get up without help.

Any tips?.. or things you mamas have used that helps with healing?

I’m terrified of tearing the wound open or not healing properly.. :/

My mil doesn't know I'm pregnant but she suspects it

So I am 5 weeks pregnant (found out Friday) and we have not told many people, especially my mil cause she doesn't like me very much and I wanna enjoy my pregnancy. However she does suspect I'm pregnant because I stopped smoking and we keep telling her I'm not. It's driving her crazy and I kind of find it funny lol

Hospital complaint

Has anyone ever made a complaint about the hospital they gave birth in after a bad labour experience?
What was the outcome, and did you feel like it helped or gave you any closure? I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences ❤️
