1-3 times a day

I poop maybe 3 times a week but I have IBS so I might not be the best survey example when I can poop 6 times one day and then not poop for days up to a week 🙃

1-2 times a day sometime 1 time every 2 days

1-3 times a day and probiotic stuff can help!! Like probiotics yogurt, powders, kimchi, and there might be other stuff too.

1-2 times a day. I’m pretty regular and drink lots of water

Between 1-3 times daily (3 times if it’s more loose usually)

Honestly 2-4 times daily. Something has messed up my stomach since 2022, maybe my kids lol. I have anxiety too but I don’t always have that nervous feeling in my tummy, but it does happen a lot

My stepdaughter (who is old enough to know better) just said to me ‘your tummy must really hurt because it is HUGE’

She then went on to say ‘it was big when you were pregnant and it is still so big now’.

I didn’t really react much. I just said ‘it’s not kind to make comments like that about somebody’s tummy, it will upset them’.

Just to add, I have been a permanent fixture in her life since she was 18 months old and we have a loving and positive relationship and am also friends with her mum (who split from my partner amicably and also remains friends with him)
So it is not like she has been poisoned against me and feels like she needs to defend her mum or anything.

I am really hurt by this. My confidence is already so low.

I forgot how to hold an actual conversation

My daughter just turned one, and I feel like I genuinely don’t know how to hold conversation with anyone anymore. I just say “oh yeah” or “oh nice” or something and then realize later things I could have said. We have been moving a lot this year due to my husbands job so I don’t get out of the house at all so I’m sure that’s a big part of the issue but I feel like once pregnancy brain started for me it never went away Lmaoo. Anyone else?

Would you say something?

When I went to nursery to collect my son this evening I could hear him screaming. They said he was just having his nappy changed and it was a bit sore. The worker that was changing his nappy (who didn't know I was there) shouted "SARAH COME HERE!!". The worker I was standing with (Sarah) looked awkward and went into the next room. She came back saying that it had been sticky poo, diarrhoea and is very sore so they've had to put a lot of Sudocrem on. All this time my son is still screaming. She said that it is probably so sore because he did a lot of soiled nappies today.
When I changed his nappy after getting home, it's really red all over, including on his genitals and under his bum. When I looked at the app, he's logged as happy one soiled nappy this morning then just two other wet ones, the last one being around 2pm and I collected him around 5pm.
I'm worried that they left him in a soiled nappy for ages which is why it was 'sticky' and he's now so sore 🥺 I really don't have any proof though so I feel like it would probably just be my word against theirs.

Sleep

Hey, my baby is 4 weeks old and has passed their birth weight. I have had two different advices from health care visitor and midwife. I normally wake my baby up for feeds at night time after 3/4 hours which is the advice I was told due to my baby being small, I was also told my baby should wake me up for feeds if they are hungry and to let them sleep. I think I just have high anxiety about sids and unsure whether to let my baby sleep as when I do wake them they are super tired and only feed for around 5 minutes and go straight back to sleep and then wakes me up on their own every 2.5 hours after that. Do you let your baby sleep if they do or should I carry on with the four hours. They are soley breastfed

Please can people share their bedtime routines?

I’m going to change my baby’s bedtime to 7:30/8 tonight. She was going about 9/9:30 but it’s too late for her now. She’s started to not sleep very well at night after being a really good sleeper for the first 10 weeks.
If she goes down between 7 & 8 do I need to stay with her next to her? I know there’s quite strict guidance around being with them at all times when they’re asleep, regardless of whether it’s a day time nap or not. But if she goes down at 7:30 can I do stuff in that window until I sleep? Or do I need to be next to her?
Just wondering anyone whose baby goes to sleep around that time if they stay with them ect. Thank you x

Crying baby

Does anyone else’s baby seem to only cry when they’re awake? Ours is almost 4.5 weeks and he sleeps, wakes up crying, feeds, then on and off cries until he goes back to sleep. Only relaxed when he has his dummy. It’s hard when he always seems upset. I’m worried I’ve created a dummy monster 😂 we only introduced it last week to try and help with the crying as it was constant and involved us rocking him upright trying to soothe him for hours, which isn’t sustainable
