I feel like my brain NEVER shuts off & because of that I’m always forgetting things. I constantly feel like I have a million things to do & definitely not enough time & energy to do it all. Barely keeping my head above water & that’s all I have the strength for. Being a SAHM is so much more than what others realize & it’s so very frustrating 😔😵💫🙏🏼

I’m seeing now that I had my baby (4 months pp) that I can’t look at my phone and hold a conversation at the same time anymore lol. Idk if that counts as mom brain

I’m 1.5weeks pp and my brain is already in high gear. I’m trying to function and heal on little sleep, track feeds, diapers, etc. keep track of appointments, registering birth, mat leave paperwork, more appointments. Never fully sleeping cuz you’re listening for the baby. All while the dad snores for 10+ hours a night. And my mind is working double time to think of what I’m forgetting while trying to do all that! Sooooo thankful for tracking apps… I check that a million times a day to see when last feed was, see if we had enough wet/ dirty diapers today.

Utilise your phone more- your calendar, alerts, notes, timers. I’ve accidentally double booked myself before for parties/play dates coz I forgot one was on so I’ve had to leave one midway to get to another mid-late. So now for all events I put it in I calendar with an alert for 2hrs before, 1hr before and time to leave I have 3 alerts for event 😂 and if I’m cooking anything I’ll use the oven timer or else I’ll get distracted and shit will burn lol. Anything that runs out gets put on the shopping list on the fridge. Talk to Siri more coz she does everything for me and is really helpful if you use her right, she’s literally my second brain
