I’m going off on annual leave at 34+3 but my actual mat leave is starting at 39

I’d say leave it as long as you can, think about your return. It never feels like long enough and you need as much time as possible with your baby.

My actual mat leave starts at 38+4 but I’m taking some annual leave so will finish at 37+6. I wanted to try and have as much time with baby on maternity before having to return so have left it later x

I’m still 24 weeks , would love to go at 34 weeks 😀

For everyone it’s different. I worked until the Friday before my daughter was due due on the Monday.
I wanted all the time with my LO after the birth. I walked to the office and everything.

I work for a new company now and WFH, so I’ll be doing the same again. No one expects anything from you those last few weeks 😂 if handed everything over and created products to be distributed in my absence. so I was well prepared to go off, I simply enjoyed he social element of going into the office 🤍

I'm going off at 35+2, weeks, but the next 3 weeks is annual leave so my official maternity leave starts at 37+6. And I cannot wait 😁 roll on 1st October!

36 weeks I think not decided yet but makes sense to finish end of October x

38 weeks. 1 week before C-section. I will then use my AL to have 14 months mat leave with baby x

My partner's sister has just announced she's getting married this October!

Do we go or not?
Long story short, we don't talk and do not get along and haven't for the past 2 years nowm She has invited me, my partner and our children.

She texted out of the blue after barely speaking to us

She didn't go to our Daughter's her god-daughters first Birthday, she didn't even send a card or anything.
She didn't go to our second Daughter's Christening, same again didn't even send a card. - she is coming over this month for our second Daughter's Birthday.

We live in Northern Ireland
She lives in England
She's getting married in Scotland during the week.

It would cost a lot of money for us to go, I would have to pay for half of the cost with my partner.

My partner is blank straight refusing to go on his own, even though I have told him to go and I'm ok with that but he won't.
So the only way for him to be there is if I go with our children and pay half.

I really don't know what to do. I don't want to be a walk-over and go to someone's wedding who doesn't even like me, doesn't talk to and deleted me off social media and bad- mouthed me to her whole family.
But at the same time I want to be the bigger person

Vinted etiquette

Random one I know but just a general question! Does someone selling on Vinted having only an option of inpost for postage put you off of buying? And if you’re using lots of lockers or sending off a few parcels in a shop, do you let others go infront of you or just think it’s my time I want to be served?

Are you getting any time to yourself?

Have you had chance to have any time to yourself since having your baby yet?

Mom Brain

I feel like my brain NEVER shuts off & because of that I’m always forgetting things. I constantly feel like I have a million things to do & definitely not enough time & energy to do it all. Barely keeping my head above water & that’s all I have the strength for. Being a SAHM is so much more than what others realize & it’s so very frustrating 😔😵‍💫🙏🏼
