My daughter is now 3.5 years old and me and my husband got on each others nerves today was just a stressful day as we’ve got 3 kids under 5 so it’s full on plus with the newborn it’s intense. So we argued a few times today and it all started quite petty about cleaning. My husband basically was mopping the kitchen floor and told me that it’s not his job anyway he’s just helping me out. I’m exclusively breast feeding and have been through some hard times recently so I just ended up boiling over like a kettle. Feel so awful that we argued in front of our daughter as she kept telling her daddy to stop talking mean and to say sorry because he’s being naughty to mummy I feel so terrible like I’m an awful mum now 😢 just want some encouraging words from anyone. I feel so bad

I’m so sorry you’re having such a hard time. ❤️ Please don’t think you’re an awful mum, you really aren’t. You’re raising three little ones under five, including a newborn, and that’s incredibly demanding. Anyone would feel overwhelmed at times.
The fact that you feel guilty shows how much you care about your children. Your daughter seeing you both make up afterwards can also teach her that disagreements happen, but love, kindness, and saying sorry are important too.
Be gentle with yourself. This is just one difficult day, not a reflection of the kind of mum you are. I hope you and your husband get a chance to talk things through when things are calmer. Sending you a big hug. 💕
