LO is now 4 months old, going on 5 and I still can’t get any house work done other than the bed everyday and laundry. The baby is exclusively breastfed, so understandbly that also has some impact. We are even considering bringing a baby sitter in once a week so I help around the house for a full day, clean and batch cook and freeze for us. Baby dad helps, but his own bandwidth is reduced given he can only take the baby after work and we don’t want him to sort out all the house stuff and miss out on bonding with the baby either. How is everybody doing this? Our family is abroad, any tips welcome

I really struggle to keep on top of everything I used to do pre-baby especially as during the day she’s a contact napper. At the moment all I can manage is laundry and dishes during the day whilst baby is playing (teething has limited her independent play recently so these bits are done in chunks), and as soon as I put her to bed around 9ish I quickly clean up and put everything back in its designated place and sort something for our dinner or on days she’s hard to put down I’ll order in. My husband has one day off a week in which I deep clean the bathroom and other bits that I can’t get done during the week. Any advice or tips also please (baby hates the indoor carrier and has gotten quite heavy so can’t use this)
