Baby groups

Hello is there any good baby groups in Southend ? My little boy is 2 weeks old but looking to go when he’s 6+ weeks old. Also not sure if there’s any minimum age restrictions. Thanks.

Southend family centres run stay and plays and baby sensory from 0+ for free, highly recommend, I’ve been going since my daughter was 3 months old. Time table is on Facebook Xx

Have a look on Facebook and Instagram at city family, they normally have a play group on a Thursday for non mobile babies and it's normally quite empty, they also do things like baby massage which is about £15 for 5 weeks xxx

Baby sensory Southend is amazing. Groups are run by Louise, I went with both of mine. Can go from birth until 1. You do have to pay but well worth it I would say.

Otherwise I second looking at the groups run by the Family Centres 🙂

Hi

👋 Hi everyone, I’m Joan!

I’m 31 and turning 32 soon 🎂, and I’m a proud mum to 3 wonderful children 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💕

I’m really hoping to meet some lovely, kind people and make some genuine friends 🫶 Since becoming a mum, I’ve sadly lost a lot of friends over the years, and it’s left me feeling like I really need some good people in my life who will stay 🥺💛

I’m super easy-going and up for anything really ☺️ I’m loyal, caring, and I’ll be the best friend you could ask for — I just want that in return 🤝✨

If you’re looking for a real friend, someone to chat with, laugh with, and be there for each other — please say hi! 👋💬 I’d love to get to know you 🥰

Having my daughter made me hate my career

I am 2 months postpartum (10 weeks) and I return to work tomorrow. My daughter is the sweetest baby girl, she is so easy to care for, breastfeeding has been a breeze, she barely cries, sleeps well, and smiles and giggles soooo much! I love spending time with her throughout the day but being a SAHM isn’t in the cards for me/realistic. Before her, I loved my career in ABA working with children on the spectrum. I’m a year away from finishing my program working towards my BCBA. It was my passion, and I loved it. I was great at it. But the idea of leaving my daughter brings me to so many tears and emotionally I cannot handle it. Prior to starting work I went places alone for a few hours (appointments; hair, nails, etc…) and I legit was itching to get back home to her. I have a lot of mom guilt about being away and missing things with her. I’m crying typing this just thinking about it. I know I have to go back to provide her a better life but I just wanted to know I’m not alone in that, and if resenting work/my career is normal in this stage.

I’m trying to figure some things out for myself

Do you genuinely like touching your partners penis? Of course I’d hope you want to please them but like do you want to and crave his penis? Or is it closeness and general penetration?
