How would you deal with this? Horrible comments about my child :(

I was at a softplay today and with my children including my nearly 2 year old (a girl) wearing pink sparkly girls clothes and pink shoes... well an older lady said aww I think "He" wants to play with his sister and I said yes "She" probaboy does i'm just taking her shoes off and no I wasnt abrupt or anything... and i looked at my daughter and smiled and said come on Elsie... to which she loudly says to the person she is with in a horrible way oh my god its a girl can you believe that its a girl, it looks like a boy and not even a cute boy and honestly I am so heartbroken like why are people so horrible? And to a child, I just could never and I hate to say it but it is not the first time I have had something like this :(

Im also worried because her hair has stopped growing and we found out it could be her condition and medication causing it too so now im worried for her as people obviosly are not always kind

PPD

How are we handling our depression. Today is a bad day. I don’t want to be here anymore. I have no friends. No one understands what I’m going through. When does this end.

Rolling is ruining my life

Baby has learned the fun new skill of rolling and loves to practice at night. This effectively means bedtime and resettles involve baby going onto her tummy and waking up as a result. Conveniently she also doesn’t know how to put her head to the side so she ends up very distressed causing interruptions to sleep. PLEASE ANY TIPS ARE WELCOME 😢😢😢

anyone else a sociopath until you had your baby?

incognito because obviously this makes me look bad or whatever but it’s insane… i learned cognitive empathy growing up but never had it naturally, but i started feeling empathy to my baby when she was born but it’s spreading to other people now and fuck it’s so helpful for conversing and connecting… didn’t realise how much of the picture i was missing when talking to people, it’s like gaining vision or hearing for the first time… i’m getting every reaction and thing i say right every time without having to work it out, i actually teared up when a friend did the other day it’s WILD. is it just me this has happened to?

side note how the fuck do the rest of you and especially empaths function day to day?

Keeping baby upright after feeds

How are we all keeping our babies upright after feeds? My baby is 2.5 weeks old and I find it so hard to keep him upright for 20-30 mins after feeds as obviously they are so floppy still haha. He also doesn’t really like being burped or put over a shoulder and I feel like 30 mins is such a long time to keep a newborn vertical, especially when sleepy after feeds (but then keeping upright always disturbs him!) My baby is quite sicky as I think milk comes in thick and fast and sometimes he’s even sick like an hour after a feed or in his crib which is worrying so just want to know any tips or tricks! Thank yooou X
