Family of 3

Can i be happy as a family of three, me, my husband and our child? Feeling a lot of pressure to have more but this may not happen for us. Am i still doing good enough? Im still providing my child with a ‘proper family’ arent i? And can i still feel whole? Will it always hurt when friends announce second pregnancies? These are all comments that i have received by the way x

I believe if God wants it to happen. It will happen.
In the mean time be greatful for your little blessing ( hubby and child)
Some people can’t even get one or the other.

I don’t know how religious you are, but what’s meant to be will happen and God has a plan so if you are meant to have more, it will happen and if not, that’s totally fine too. I’m in the same boat as you and don’t know if we will have more either but leaving it up to fate.

We’re a family of 3 by choice. I believe we’ve made the best possible choice for our family. I would say if people are making those comments to you it reflects more on their feelings and then projecting those on you.

Am I the only one?

Anyone else cut off their families since giving birth? Since I gave birth to my beautiful daughter, I realise they don’t refer to her as her name. Only baby or it!

They aren’t supportive of my breastfeeding journey (when you going to give her a bottle) rather than celebrating I’ve done 7 months of pure breast!

My daughter is advanced and full of personality but none of them know it nor cared when I used to give weekly updates. Just come for their photo opp and leave. Tell me what I need to do rather than appreciate what I have done etc…

Just sad as I thought my siblings would love my daughter as much as their friends’ but because I’m not bringing her up their way - this is my “punishment,”

9-10 days DPO

So I took a clear blue early test this morning and it’s negative- is it still too early to rule out? As I feel sick in the morning and feel weird pulses in my stomach aswell…. 11 days until my period!!!

The wait it’s so anxious !!!

Anyone else has a negative lead to positive?

I hope this isn’t rude, but it’s a genuine question because I’m curious. Why do so many mums on here accept the position of default parent?

I don’t mean the ones with terrible partners that do nothing. I mean the ones who have fairly good partners, who are quite helpful, they play with their children, they take on some duties, but in no way do they do their 50%. Why is this so normalized? Why do mums continue to accept it as standard when it makes them unhappy and burnt out? Why do some mothers almost brag about it like all men are like this?

Ignore the poll options, I don’t know the answer to why so I’m just guessing why.

Testing

my cycle is every 31 days. My last period was 23rd July so 12 days ago. I normally ovulate around day 17/18. So I know I haven’t ovulated yet but can I start testing today?
