I’m a postdoc, 16wk pregnant and also working in a lab. What are you stressed about in particular?

That is genuinely really helpful advice. Thank you so so so much. I know I can do it but some days make it seem impossible! I know it’ll be worth it when my baby girl gets to be at my graduation 💖

Thank you again 🩷🩷🩷

Would you be upset: no midwives showed up for their appointments and no one was told

I was supposed to have my 34 week appointment today where my anemia was going to be checked and she was going to follow up on my VBAC consultation that I been trying to get. I got to the GP and another expectant Mum advised me that no midwives have shown up and she had been waiting since 9:30 (it was 10:15) and the GP didn't know what was going on. So, we both rang maternity and it turns out that the midwife clinic was cancelled today (no illnesses or anything)... However, no one was told. I am a bit upset because I have concerns at the moment and have been waiting a few weeks to get a VBAC appointment. Just wondering if anyone else would be a bit upset at this, after travelling there especially if you are in a lot of pain? They said they can only apologize (which is true not their fault) and try to rebook as soon as they can.

Is 10am too early for a 6 year old birthday party?

It’s a pizza making party and that’s the time before the restaurant opens properly at 11:30.

Low percentile baby

Looking for positive stories only please 🙏 Has anyone been in a similar situation. Baby was 7.7th percentile on 1st growth scan and now 2.9th percentile. Estimated weight is 4.1lbs at 34 weeks. Tummy measurement bringing it down. Going for an additional scan tomorrow.

Growth scans?

First time pregnancy - low risk. Have had scans at 12 and 20 weeks but see everyone talking about having growth scans booked in. Not been mentioned to me at all so just wondering if everyone has these or if it’s just if you’re higher risk? Seems mad i could go from 20 weeks to giving birth with no other scans!
