Figured I'd throw myself out there because making friends as an adult is somehow harder than convincing a toddler to wear pants. 😂

I'm a stay at home mom with a couple of little ones, a house full of pets, and a love for gardening, baking, being outside, and finding new adventures. I'm pretty laid back and enjoy the occasional smoke or drink after the kids are settled.

My parenting style is a little old school. I love muddy boots, climbing trees, helping in the kitchen, and getting outside. But I'm also realistic. If my kid needs some tablet time so I can drink my coffee while it's still hot or catch my breath, there won't be any guilt or judgment here.

I'm hoping to meet moms who are kind, honest, easygoing, and looking for a real friendship. Let's go to the park, explore hiking trails, hit up farmers' markets, have backyard bonfires, plan playdates, or even sneak away for a kid-free coffee or girls' night once in a while.

Paid Family Leave

My OB just told me that they start family leave 4 weeks before scheduled delivery and that it’s only 12 weeks. Is this correct? My current job is also 1099 that i started in the summer but i worked w2 within the 12 months so i know i still qualify! I’m already struggling to work 2
months before delivery🫩

What to do? I overspent,not sure what ti do.

I got my UC top up today,I pay rent from it but I had nothing in my cupboards so I bought some food and also some clothes for my daughter(she is suddenly so tall and everything is short) I have overspent and won't have enough for my rent.I get paid form my job on 15th,so I was thinking I could pay some of it now and rest on 15th.I m housing association and I m already on payment plan...should I tell them or wait and pay on 15thz? I m so sick of making these choices,I still have school uniform to pay for...I m always stressed,like non stop,always down to mu last penny.
