My baby has just turned 3 months old and in the last couple of days he goes from 0 to 100 when he’s tired and wanting to nap. Once he’s asleep, he sleeps amazingly, but he will just scream and cry before it, most of the time not wanting to be rocked or held either. I think it’s developmental as he’s becoming more aware of the feeling of falling asleep? Anyone else in the same boat?!?

Went through exactly the same thing at the same time! Our LO one would scream and cry while being rocked to sleep- thought she was fighting sleep but actually just didn’t want to be held anymore. We started putting her in her swaddle and now just pat her tummy/bum and stroke her head if she starts crying but we found she cries wayyy less doing this method. Now takes less time for her to fall asleep and sometimes she doesn’t cry at all! It’s like a completely different baby. She’s 4 months now and this has been working for us consistently since 3 months! Hope things improve for you soon- it’s heartbreaking all the crying when they just need to sleep

We had this and found the only way he didn’t scream was in the sling, he didn’t wanna be rocked anymore but wanted to be close so I now bounce him in the sling to sleep then transfer once asleep x

I’m literally going through this right now😅
