Whenever we’re going anywhere, the first thing he wants to do is load the car. He’s constantly on me “is this ready to go in the car? Is that ready to go in the car?”
He’ll literally take bags that are half packed and start loading them. One time he put an empty cooler in the trunk and said I could just carry the food out to it.
We’re going to a water park hotel for 2 days and 1 night today, and that’s the first thing he said to me 🙃
I have said it to him many times that I like to take an account of things before we start loading it up, and there are many tasks that can be done before it’s time to load the car (the kids are still in their pyjamas…)

I catually prefer when he does that 🤣 he helps pack the bag and I'll tell him when everything is ready to get packed away, BUT he's not allowed to start until I am fully ready to go, then he can pack while I sort our daughter out

Man pick things up. Man put things down. Man good.

My step dad is like this, but my partner has no idea how to pack the car so it’s not something he cares about like that lmfao

I’m such an obnoxious pre-planner it’s half ready days early. BUT I think if I wasn’t, my husband would do this too. We have a system these days, of he sits around and watches bubs, makes us all breakfast, cleans up the house ETC, while I pack and make a “pile” by the door of everything when it’s ready to go. Once I’m ready, I let him know said pile is ready for the car wherever he wants to shove it & we switch. But he better entertain the child and leave me alone while I do it 😂 you interrupt my process, we’re missing items
