Mine just turned 2. I need tips as well!

Has he shown signs of being ready? Potty training early because you want to and not because the child is ready almost always leads to regressions and issues later on

I got a potty seat that goes over the toilet when my son was 15/16 months and let him sit on it / just get use to it and would try to have him pee or poop but with no pressure at all then I waited until he was 21 months to go full on bc we had a 2 week long vacation when he was 19 months & I heard you shouldn’t have any big changes happening when you do start so at 21 months we went full on underwear all the time and I would take him to the bathroom every 30 ish min we had potty books we would read and after about a week he started telling me when he needed to go now he’s 22 months and fully potty trained

lol i tried at 18m too but it didn't stick but now he's 2 and wanting to do it himself! all i did was send him to the potty with his dad every chance i got lol and now he's wants to "pee like daddy"

Mine is about 15 months and we introduced a potty to him at 12 months. We talk at diaper changes about diapers, potty, poop, and pee. Sometimes we sit him on the toilet if he says potty, but so far we haven’t done anything to pressure him to use it. I just want him aware that it’s there and once he fully understands and can communicate more about what he wants to do, we will jump in! We have lots of books and the potty training Tonie as well.
