Cheating..

Found out my partner was going to massage parlors for “happy endings.” A couple of months ago I also found out he had pursued another women while I was pregnant. I have 2 kids, one with him and another from a prior relationship (his dad’s deceased) …he said he’s going to change and pursue therapy and when he’d get stress , that’s what his stress would lead him to do. I’m 30 and feel like a failure. I have 2 kids with 2 different men and although the first one was out of my control , I’m sad that this relationship has failed. He’s saying he’s going to change and he wants to be a family.
Should I stay and try to work things out… I do feel like my worth is down because I do have two kids with two different men. How should I navigate this? Is this how men deal with their stress? 😕 I’ve know this man for 15+ years, since middle school.. I thought I knew better.

I definitely don't take that as acceptable behavior. But only you can know if you truly think he will change...

As for 2 father's, that doesn't down play your worth at all, not even a little bit! Don't doubt yourself and your worth mama

Don't stay with him just because you have 2 kids with 2 different men. It has nothing to do with your worth. The right man will love you and treat you and your kids with love and respect. If you believe he can and will get help, that's up to you. And no, all men do not turn to cheating just because they're stressed.

Questions to ask at Nursery Viewings

Hey! I’m a first time mum going to nursery viewings tomorrow and Tuesday and just wanted some suggestions for questions to ask as I feel completely out of my depth but at the same time like it’s the most important decision I’ve had to make so far. Anything you can think of or that you wish you’d asked or looked for in advance would be super helpful. Thank you so much 💕🙏

Discipline

Does anyone have any ideas for disciplining a 2 year old? She's to little to understand a time out I've tried. I've also tried just explaining none of it works.

What's something you would do if you had a child free day?

What's something that's on your list to do (apart from resting LOL) that you would do if you had a child free day?

My partner is detached and useless.

For a little background, my partner is 24 and he is stressed due to some trouble with the law(a road rage incident where the other person made insane claims), my son is 10 months old and very mobile (he’s already walking).
My partner has been super unsupportive and distant. He is always on his phone when he’s “watching” our son, and he doesn’t look at him or really interact with him during mealtimes or time spent together. When he does help, by watching his own son while I do something or just need a break, he does not take into account what the baby wants. For example, right after a full contact nap with me, he will try to get the baby to sit still and cuddle with him while watching tv, when it’s fairly obvious that he doesn’t want to be still and wants to be active(trying to get away, getting upset from sitting still, etc.). Also, when my partner isn’t being helpful and I kind of call him out for it, he brings up the fact that I played a video game for like 30 minutes while our son is playing in his playpen, note that I still interact with our son during this time. My partner basically only plays games and while get on the game and then ask me if it’s okay if he plays when he’s already in a party (voice chat) with his friends. He doesn’t really want to help with other stuff either, I asked him to help set up the crib so I don’t need to hold our son during every nap time, he said he doesn’t know why he needs the crib. I tell him I will just set it up myself then, now he doesn’t know where the bolts are for it and won’t look for them when he’s the one to put all of this stuff in the garage. He also gets upset when I try to give him ideas on what he could do with our son when he’s watching him but he gets upset and tells me he knows how to parent, then does things our son doesn’t enjoy and wonders why he doesn’t fucking like him.
I am so tired. I need a partner, not an idiotic manchild who is always distant and on the off chance he isn’t, he’s dismissive and argumentative. I’m so fed up.

Am I crazy to think I’m not allowed to hang out with my niece and nephew anymore?

As of lately, my husband has been having this idea that my brother doesn’t like him for some odd reason. It’s gotten to the point that he’s accused me of being there more for my brother than my own husband and my child which is totally ridiculous. Today my brother texted me inviting us out to eat, but I didn’t go because I knew my husband would say no so then again my brother invited us to an ice cream shop. My husband started working in his office. I told him me and my son would go because I also wanna see my niece and nephew. My husband makes the statement. “ watch our son don’t take your eyes away from him.” I ask him why he says that and he says.” well you always go towards your niece and nephew and disregard of our son whenever you’re around them.” I decided to not respond because it’s now starting to seem like I can’t even hang out with my brother. It’s my niece and my nephew and my son.

Keep in mind this is not the first second or third time he makes comments like this. What should I do?

Working from home with my baby

I am due to go back to work in October and my baby will be almost 10 months. I will be working from home with him and tag teaming with my partner most days however there will be days in the week I am solo. My job is mostly email based with the odd teams call here and there. My question is does anyone have any tips on what toys etc to get to help keep my baby occupied whilst I’m working. I will be taking breaks to play with him but hoping to get some tips and tricks from any other working from home mammas. Thanks!!
