39+5 and I am honestly ready to give up and cry. I am getting daily messages from people asking how I am, any sign of baby etc... And I am so done. Already last week I started ignoring people but they just keep messaging! My dad intentionally calls me to wind me up to the point I've told him if he does it again I'll be blocking him (he already isn't respecting boundaries telling me I WILL tell him I'm in labour so he can come visit me in hospital even though I've said no). The only way I feel like I can get through this is by being in my bubble and it's hard when you're getting constant messages. I'm tired, I'm fed up, I'm grumpy and people will be told when baby is here so why can't they just leave me alone. I don't want intervention but I am so ready to give in. Not great for the oxytocin production 🤣

Gal put your phone on DND and protect your peace.
The best thing to induce labour is to be relaxed, and being constantly hounded will not help.
My little one came at 40+1, all I really did was try to get a little walk in everyday, a small amount of curb walking but the rest was literally me just protecting my peace and enjoying the last of me being pregnant.
You’ve got this. You’re doing amazing 💞💞

You’ve got this, try and let it run off like water off a ducks back.
Sounds like you’ve got a good plan to relax!
Although I tried to pick up crotchet and I found that wound me up more because I couldn’t get it 😂
Your little one will come soon 💞💞

Totally feel you. My parents came from my home country to support me two weeks before my due date which was yesterday and nothing has happened yet. Once they were here, my husband just kind of stopped caring because he knows I'm not alone so I'm basically passing all my free time with my parents taking walks in the evening for example. I feel like one of those pregnant teenagers 😞 my relatives keep asking about the baby and I've nothing to say! I'm also dealing with pregnancy thrush again. I'm not sure about having another sweep with the midwife as the first one miserably failed. I'll probably just ask for an induction as soon as possible so all this will be over. I'm tired of this belly and the more I wait the more anxious I become thinking about placenta not working properly, umbellical cord around my baby's neck, baby movements or meconius. Induction is not the most pleasant experience but I'd rather suffering knowing that I'm ending this pregnancy to finally meet my baby boy.

Aww bless you, I would honestly mute everyone and just try to focus on staying busy and distracted. Generally we get close to 37 weeks and start hoping baby will come cos it’s so hard at this stage (I’m currently 38+5) but the truth is they come when they’re ready/the time is right. If you don’t want intervention - I’m the same - just hold on to that and your reasons, and try meditation to create that bubble for yourself! Hang in there x
