I’ve been diagnosed with too much amniotic fluid and have been sent to repeat my diabetes test. I am worried and have been told it isn’t a serious condition but I also feel additional symptoms like shortness of breath and exhaustion from it. Mostly I am really worried about my Baby. Any experience stories involving this rare condition?

I had moderate poly with my second baby. It corrected itself by 38 weeks and he was born healthy, he was 11lb though 😅 no GD

I had polyhydramnios, it corrected itself by 39+4, I had GD (diet controlled) Baby was born healthy and 8LB 1OZ, when my waters broke at 40+1 there was a lot of fluid but as a ftm I have no idea if that is normal or not 😂

I had polyhydramnios until birth. I really suffered and my body was under a lot of strain. They offered an induction at 39 weeks but I declined because I didn't think my body would take it, so went for a planned c section which was great.
It's not super rare, and there's no risk to baby. Sometimes it can be a sign of other things (like GD hence why they're testing again), but a lot of the time it's just benign and one of those things.
