Pregnant again

I’ve just found out Im pregnant again. I havent even told my husband yet. I have a 4 year old and my youngest turns one next month. That means 2 under 2. Anyone in the same boat or got any words of reassurance for me. I feel like I need to manage my own emotions before I can tell anyone else.

Can I get pregnant again after I start getting my period after birth?

I’m about 9mo postpartum and since my baby was 2 months old I started getting my period again. I assumed getting a period was a sign that I had eggs waiting to be fertilized but after all this time I haven’t gotten pregnant again? Why is that?

Dropping to 1 nap?

My girl is 13 months tomorrow. The last couple of weeks there has been days where she is only having 1 nap.

She usually goes down around 9.30 and can sleep for 40mins- 2.5hrs. If at home, they’ve been getting longer. Then we go out and about and she often goes till bedtime 6.30/7.30. Sometimes she’ll fall asleep in the afternoon in the car, but when at childcare etc she often refuses to sleep in the afternoon.

She does manage with 1 nap as long as it is a long one. The only issue being she struggles to stay awake past 9.30/10 in the morning, so is often waking 12.30 at the latest, which then makes the afternoon really long, and she can get very grumpy in the afternoon/evening where she’s tired!

Nocturnal Baby

Had my second daughter on Aug 5th, and since being home the little pickle has had one good sleep night and is basically nocturnal since. For the life of me I can't remember what it was like or what we did with my first. Am I just gonna have to sleep earlier and fight through 😩

Routines

Those of you getting 4/5/6/7 hour stretches at night, what’s your day/night one routines? Ie when are you putting them to bed? How long are they awake for before bed? How often are they napping in the day?

Baby sleeping longer stretches but boobs are not happy

What do we do with our hard and engorged boobs when baby decide to not wake up as many times during night anymore? I couldn't wait for this moment but now I'm in pain and want baby to wake up instead. Im using the elvie suction pump to get some milk out but maybe now baby is not getting that milk in the beginning that is for thirst?

Sleep

Anyone else struggling with sleep? Can’t drift off but really tired been like this for the past week or so. Been napping in the day when I can and I’ve never been a napper. But this lack of sleep is a lot when you have a toddler!! Wish I could sleep.
