Weaning 4 months?

Can anyone give any advice on if they started weaning baby or giving them baby porridge or purred food at 4 months and how it went?

Babies bodies/digestive systems aren't ready for food until 6 months and showing all signs of readiness.

Introducing it early can cause lifelong digestive issues and increases the chances of obesity.

Learning at nursery

So my little one’s just turned one and he’s starting nursery later this month. His nursery doesn’t offer any basic learning/curriculum at all until 3 years. My baby is quite a fast learner so I was hoping he would pick up new things at nursery like colours and 123.

Is this the case at other nurseries too? They only do singing, interactive/messy play. Am I expecting too much lol

How much are you January babies eating? How many meals are you offering? How much do they ACTUALLY eat from it? Struggling as my girl still isn’t showing much interest in weaning.

I have 6 recipe books for ideas and honestly some of them seem insane to me😂 also BLW genuinely gives me fear. I hate this first starting to eat stage honestly and her not being interested isn’t helping me😩

Is the relationship broken??

So me and my boyfriend had a little chat yesterday and he had told me that he enjoys his alone time more than being around me. He says that he sometimes feels suffocated because I’m a very energetic person. I told him that I am really trying to work on myself, but that lately I’m having a lot of insecurities due to our distance. He told me that I can’t force him to say that we’re gonna be okay because I was crying. I felt horrible because of it because it wasn’t my intention to guilt trip him. Now I’m really unsure where we’re going with our relationship. He says he wants to work on us and that he loves me, but I personally have the feeling that he might’ve already pulled out of this relationship.

I feel stuck… what do I do?

Weight reviews

My 10 month old has been pulled for a weight review after his 9-12 month check this morning as his weight has dipped. Despite her trying to reassure me that she has no other concerns I can’t help but overthink this situation! He’s very happy, he’s very active, climbing and cruising around our sofa aswell as crawling, he eats well and still breastfeeds regularly. He’s also my 4th child so I’d like to think I know somewhat what I’m doing. I don’t feel I have any concerns regarding him and can’t help but feel annoyed and stressed, or like I’m doing something wrong…. Any reassurance or experience of this? What can I give him to fatten him up😅🤣

Follow up to - should I apologise post!

So I didn't apologise.

Since then - My son had a family only bday party and she refused to come because it was a garden party. She messaged half an hour before we were expecting them. She said it wasn't safe in the heat. She was meant to be bringing his cousins and Aunt and Uncle. None of them came. The heat was 28 degrees, cloudy and we had out big gazebos.

She messaged and asked when we were going to reschedule and I said we weren't going to. She then didn't answer and hasnt answered me now for 3 weeks.

I am really struggling to move past this.
I also don't feel like my partner is getting it. He spoke to her and she said the heat isn't safe. I feel really sad about this.
I also feel like she is judging me!

We cannot go to her currently.

What would you do -
