AITA for not letting my boyfriend travel to las Vegas from Sydney for his mates birthday within 1 month of giving birth?

I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant , my partner is upset in putting my foot down on attending his mates 30th birthday in Vegas, I'll give some more details below

My partner's scheduled holidays coming up

August: 3 days boys trip to watch the footy - interstate
September: 6 day trip with myself and his friend turning 30 plus his gf - travelling interstate
December: a 1 week vacay overseas w my partner for the babymoon just us two

On top of this he wants a extra week to 10 days on Vegas(we live in Sydney, Australia- so this is a significant expense) starting 18 Feb when Im scheduled to be due 26 march

AITA for putting my foot down incase I go into labour earlier than planned or expecting some help when I'll be that heavily pregnant ? He keeps saying I don't expect you to understand but on top of not being around the support me in the first and last trimester that's thousands of dollars we could put towards the baby that he wants to blow away in Vegas . The trip to Vegas is a boys trip, so even if I could travel it's not like I'm not invited!

Hmm maybe a month before is ok. I read it as a month after.

I gave birth 1 month early with my first. You are doing the hard work of growing, carrying and birthing this baby the least he can do is support you when you need it.
I only hope that if he does stay home he doesn't act out toward you because his missing out "for no reason".

My husband was supposed to go on a work trip 4 weeks before our baby came. I told him I had a feeling he was coming early and really didn’t want him to go. He contracts for the military and would’ve been doing nights and coming home exhausted. He didn’t go, and baby ended up coming 3 weeks early, two days after he was scheduled to be home from his trip. He straight up told me that there was no way he would’ve survived the first few weeks if he had gone on that trip. Moral of the story is, that last month is a crapshoot and babies come early all the time! Best to be rested and ready

I want to Feel like myself

I want to feel like myself. But if I'm being honest. I didn't even know who I really was before I had my baby girl. How do you find yourself? As your going thru postpartum and dealing with spending all the free time pumping or grabbing something to eat or a shower etc?

Does your partner call you boring if you refuse to have unprotected sex?

We've been together 15 years, I'm 33 and he's 38. We have 2 children together and don't want any more, he makes it clear if I fall pregnant again then I will have to have a termination.

But anytime he wants unprotected sex he expects me to just be fine with it because he doesn't want to wear a condom then when I say no he always rolls his eyes and says "god sake you're so boring" or tells me I'm the most boring person. Like I'm 33 I don't want unprotected sex, but to call me boring is so rude and I tell him it hurts my feelings but he shrugs it off or laughs and goes "oh shut up, it's clearly a joke"

I think calling someone boring in an intimate part of life isn't a joke, especially when we do have sex and do stuff he says how filthy I am and how unbelievable it is, he just doesn't like me saying no to unprotected sex.

I feel like it's a bit weird to act/respond that way as a nearly 40 year old but anytime I try and mention it he will shut me down as I mentioned. I've asked him to stop, he doesn't.

Cheating

Hi everyone, just interested in some opinions.

The father of my baby cheated on me last month, I was 25 weeks pregnant. I found out because he gave me an STI.

Things moved very quickly between us. We met in November, found out I was pregnant in March and moved in together end of March.
We went through a rough patch for a few months. My moods haven’t been the easiest to deal with, which would cause some arguments. I suggested we had a break for a few days, as it was becoming a bit intense. This is when he cheated.

Would you ever be able to forgive and move on? Or would this be the end?

Fed up of seeing dog free playground/ kids playing areas/spaces occupied by dogs and their owners.

I have two boys who love the park. We have two local to us, one is a regular park and one has a nice grassed area, splash pad/sandpit/woodland area. These are all heavily signed with “no dogs allowed/dog free area”.

There is constantly people who ignore these signs and allow their dogs into their area. Sometimes these dogs are barking, let off the lead and pooing/weeing around the play equipment.

My little boys do not like dogs are are becoming scared to play at the park.

What can I do? I do not feel safe taking my children to the park and I do not feel like I am able to speak to the owners, especially when on my own with 2 young children. Should I contact the council?

Kissing babies

I'm just wanting to hear everyone's opinions because my boyfriend and I still can't agree, I think we are both struggling to understand eachothers pov? When my baby was born we both had an agreement that nobody is allowed to kiss our baby, I made this clear with all of my family and friends very early on. We went to visit his gran a couple of weeks ago after she was sadly diagnosed with a brain tumour and told she has a short amount of time left. It was her first time meeting my child and sadly, perhaps the last due to distance(although we are hoping to visit in the near future🤞🏻). When we was there she kissed him on two occasions and when I pulled my partner on it he thought I was cruel for saying she can't kiss our baby as she is dying. I am happy for her to hold him, cuddle him all the rest .. I just don't want anybody to kiss him as I don't think it's worth the risk. He said there's a higher risk bringing him in the car than having his gran kiss our baby. For background context my father is of a similar age to his gran, he has Parkinson's, dementia and has previously suffered a stroke.. he lives across the water from us and everytime we see him I don't know if it's the last but I continously tell him he can't kiss our baby. I'm worried if we visit again this will be a problem as we argued over this on a few occasions. Am I in the wrong?

Message for me please

I caught my husband cheating. We have 2 children and 1 due this month. Bad timing!
He said he’d call it off but I have reason to believe he was with her today at lunch. Please can someone help me, sending a message from their phone to her to see if she was at the lunch spot (he was but it’s a weird place to take himself to!)

I’ve drafted something out and have the number so it’d be so easy to do but would bring me all the truth and clarity before baby is here!

Please respond if you’re happy to help me 🙏
