I'm really not enjoying this breastfeeding journey. It's bloody relentless. Feel like my supply is reducing too at the moment. There are too many things to worry about. Whether he's got a good latch, whether he's getting enough milk, whether my supply is enough, whether I've emptied enough not to get blocked duct's.. it's just too much. Anyone else feeling the same? I feel like giving up!

I’m feeling the same recently, I really enjoy actually doing it but the worry that comes with it is alot especially when learning how to look after a baby! I thought things were going well then the health visitor said he’d not gained enough weight and she wants me to give an extra 40ml expressed milk after every breast feed and I don’t know how I’m going to be able to do that 😩 and just as that has come up it feels like my supply is reducing I’m barely getting any expressed.. so frustrating because when it goes well it’s so rewarding

It is relentless I am struggling with how often my baby is at the boob (23/7)!! I keep getting blisters from shallow / lazy latch at night too. So painful.
If I could go back and give some advice to myself on my last breastfeeding journey where I constantly worried about supply and what my baby was getting… I would say trust your body, your body knows what to do, it carried your baby and got your baby here, you can trust it to feed your baby now. Eat well, be kind to yourself and treat yourself like the breastfeeding QUEEN that you are 💛
