How do you all do it?

I’ve got the best 7 month old son who is my absolute world, but I am struggling so much. How do you all manage everyday life?
Like, I wake up and he is awake so I feed change and clothe him. I need a shower but how?! I need to vacuum the house, but how?! He doesn’t sleep for longer than an hour and when he does I’m so overwhelmed with everything I need to do that I don’t know where to start.
I don’t know how to cope with not being me anymore. I miss being able to get up, shower and dress and be presentable.
Does anyone have any life saving tips?

No tips, but I was in the same boat. You're not alone!

Was in the same boat when my boy was that age. It gets better with time. When they sleep more, better routines are formed, and they become that little bit more independent, then you're able to breathe a little more. If you have family / friends who can just stay with your little one for 30 mins / an hour while you take care of yourself, reach out to them. Don't feel bad about asking for help, it's something I wish I did more

Thank you :-) he’s teething too which is making it harder on him so I get it bless him. Yeah I’m trying but I’m finding that people say they’re here to help but in reality they’re not. And my mum is poorly which is definitely harder, I never imagined doing this without her x

Needing to get out / do stuff with other moms

Yall- I don’t even know where to start .. but as I continue this search for people who share the same interests .. I tend to go backwards I feel like . My husband works 12 hrs most nights one week and 24 the next (goes b&f) . And so I’m usually stuck at home all the time when he works or sleeps to regain rest . I do enjoy going out with my little family , but imo it’s a different feeling when you go out with friends . You feel like you can unwind a bit and not feel so tense or wtv ur feeling . I need some of that more often . And I haven’t been able to accomplish that for me and my baby as much as we’d like to . I can’t drive as of right now and that just makes it even harder … Any ideas or suggestions ladies ??

I’m looking for honest opinions on a situation with my sister-in-law.

My husband and I recently moved to a new area where we don’t know anyone. We’re about 3 months in, and I’m 7 weeks postpartum with my first baby. I’ve been finding motherhood quite overwhelming, especially without my usual support network, and I’m still adjusting at my own pace.

My sister-in-law messaged me saying she feels disappointed in how I treat my mum compared to hers, and that this is affecting her distance from me. She also offered to connect me with a friend who has a similar-aged baby.

I replied explaining that I’m still adjusting to new motherhood, feeling vulnerable, and only recently becoming comfortable accepting help from my own mum. I said I’m not ready to accept help from her mum yet, and that I need time and space to do things at my own pace, while still appreciating the offer of support.

I’m now wondering if I’m being unfair for feeling more comfortable with my own mum right now, or if my sister-in-law is being unfair in expecting equal treatment between the two grandmothers at this stage.

Headstart

Hello! I am thinking about putting my 3.5 year old into headstart but I’m a SAHM. I’ll still have my 16 month old at home trying to get him potty trained and talking.

Am I bad mom for this…?

How to help my toddlers bond

Hi everyone I have a almost 3yr old and a 1 year old right now and my oldest is overly possessive of toys in general she takes them from my youngest whenever he has one in his hand, she cries so much when I try to help them share or do a group activity so we can all play. Does anyone have any advise for something I can do to help them bond?

Weaning

Anyone else little one struggle to wean?

My little boy is nearly 11 months and won't eat much literally a biscotti biscuit and that's about it, try spoon feeding him and he won't open his mouth!

Health visitor is fucking useless
