Over the last 3 months, I’ve noticed I just feel blank? I can’t have a basic conversation without wandering off midsentence. Sometimes I’ll literally just stop talking because I completely forget what I was even saying, or I can’t find the basic words I’m trying to use.
Other times I just sit and stare at my baby, running endless loops in my head "When did she last feed? How long was her last nap?" Or honestly, I’ll just sit in total silence because my brain feels frozen.
Is anyone else in this 3 month postpartum 'phase' Please tell me I’m not the only one whose brain has completely logged off! 🫠👇

Gal I’m in the same boat! It’s awful. Im only 2 months postpartum and it’s a rollercoaster! X

You’re not the only one I had this with my first baby and now having it again with my second I literally just stop talking like you said… i just put it down to being tired and so focused on my baby i don’t have the mental capacity for anything else 😂 xx

I feel this! I’m 3.5 months postpartum and I can never remember any details like feed times, nap times and length, amount of nappies etc! So I use huckleberry 🤣

My baby boy was 3 months old old Sunday just gone, everything you’ve described is so normal and from what I’ve read it can take up-to 12 months to feel like yourself again. I’m also struggling with PP health anxiety constantly thinking I am going die or have something seriously wrong with me. I also worry so badly about the baby like I’m going to drop him down the stairs, the TV on the wall will fall on us when we are playing etc. I think worse case scenarios on everything. My mind was so quiet prior to getting pregnant it’s crazy what hormones, lack of sleep and low iron can cause. Don’t be hard on yourself you will get yourself back soon 🫶🏻

Yesss I had a May 2025 baby and I felt like that the first few months. Started to feel much more normal around the 6 month mark and now feel pretty much back to myself these days (apart from if I have a bad night) it gets better dw! X

Absolutely, I feel brain dead 😂😂😂 I have to apologise in every conversation because I forget what I was saying, I have to remake bottles as I forget how many scoops I've put in as I'm doing it! I think it's sleep exhaustion
