So I don’t have work but my friends do as mums. I think I just need to find people that don’t work but I can’t help but compare myself. I have a daughter thats 2 she goes childcare 4 days a week and my mum is getting old.. I’m also a single mum but I get government benefits… idk why I feel this way but I jusr cant help but compare sigh

i feel you. it’s very hard. i think it’s not the comparison, it’s more isolation. i am pregnant, and work 3 days a week, but remaining days i have nothing to occupy myself with and all my friends work. outside of work, say weekends - going out etc, but it’s not really an option for me so i do feel quite isolated as they can’t relate to me and what interests me now, but same vice versa

It's tough. I compare myself to my husband, I constantly feel the need to compare to him because the work I do isn't as visible as his. He leaves, and returns and there is money in the bank. I cook and clean and unless someone goes unfed or the house is in a state of pause, no one notices the work.
