Strong movements

Don’t get me wrong, I love how active my baby is. But I can’t be the only one who feels a bit sick sometimes or it takes my breath away how strong some of her movements are?!🥴🤣

She just did such a big roll / or elbowed me, I don’t even know, but it made me feel so nauseous🫣

No I agree it knocks me sick or actually hurts me 🥲

Yeah it definitely takes my breath away sometimes and she turns her head and that can really pinch in my pelvis!

I've had a few times where it's been so painful I've not been able to work 😭
I feel very lucky to not have to worry about reduced movements but it's also very uncomfortable

Avatar

Yep! I’ve had nights where I’ve been sick because of how strong they are!

You are NOT the only one. It is sensory overload. I wish the movements were more gentle and subtle so I still knew they were there but they didn't hurt me 🥹

It’s a nightmare when it’s constant when I’m trying to sleep 😂 but always good to know she’s up moving about

I understood you, I have a very large girl and she keeps going transverse and kicking me on the side . My whole belly looks like waves

I feel you
She kicked me that hard the other day when me and my partner was cuddling and she winded my partner her kick was that hard x

Baby boy born 🩵

Hey ladies , I’ve had nearly 2 weeks of my boy now and I’ve realised I’ve not checked in on here at all . My boy was born 30th July at 3.44 weighing 6 pound 4 ! He was born 37+3 .

He had a tough start and came out extremely bruised , the doctors said they have never seen anything like it 🙈 but he’s all okay now and very content .

Thank you everyone for all your help and advice over the last 9 months .

I’m curious, what’s the WORST part about having a C-Section?

I’ve got 2 kids and never experienced a C-Section, so I’m generally curious and haven’t seen any posts about what the worst part is? I know lots of people will say the aftermath - leaving the hospital (not being able to move, dealing with incision pain, achy body etc) & thereafter but I’m more specifically asking about the hours before, during surgery and the hours after the C-Section and not necessarily the PP part of it. Would love to hear about it 🤍

Planned/ elective/ emergency C section recovery opinions?

Due a planned c section soon due to a severe tear in my last birth with lasting damage to my pelvic muscles.

How was your recovery? Really worried about coping with a toddler.

40+6 and still pregnant

This is my first baby, I am currently 40+6 and its really starting to get to me and just cant stay positive anymore.

I was really hoping for natural labour but I am starting to loose hope it will actually happen, and have been crying a lot for the past 2 days, as I just feel so defeated. She’s also measuring on 90th percentile and every extra day she’s there I worry that once it comes to it will be too much to handle, and my end up in emergency c-section.

I’ve got induction booked for Sunday (I’ll be 41+3) and part of me is relieved there is finally end date for this pregnancy, and part of me still wishes that the little one decides to surprise me by then, and even asking myself if I should give her even more time?

I guess this just a rant, as just needed to get it out there, and hopefully some can relate?

Silicone scar tape

What is the best silicone scar tape post C-section once the incision is fully closed. I was looking at the frida ones and they look a bit expensive and I was wondering if these are the best and I should just bite the bullet or if you guys would recommend any other really good ones that worked for you?

Finding out the gender???

Hey lovelies,

My partner wants to find the gender out but I don't want to. He won't be at the scan due to work. Would you find the gender out to please him or stick to your guns and not find out.

I want the surprise but I also don't want other people knowing even if I did find out... oh and he can't keep a secret (especially from his mum and she has a right big gob on her so everyone would know).
