My son is 18 months old and we love his name, we are not Scottish but the meaning of his name is very special to me. We’re saying it in an English way so it’s “Kay-lan” but I’m having comments about how it’s girly.
I’m sad that he might run into bullying bc I didn’t think it would be girly.

It is not girly sound unique an I love his name don’t listen to others Unnecessary comments it is special to you cherish that not what others think

I honestly really love it and before I finished reading I pronounced it the way you explained! He can also get called Cale for short so not girly at all I think it’s a unisex name like Taylor or Spencer.
