Boyfriend takes long 💩

I know by the title alone it might not seem like much. But does anyone else’s boyfriend/husband do this as well? Literally every single time he needs to 💩, it’s anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour and 10 minutes (his longest one, I was curious so I timed it) like bro. Does it really take that long every time?? I’ve looked it up and it says when they do this they have a medical issue and should get it checked. I’ve been with him for 2 years and he’s always done this. Even before getting together people have told me how long he takes in there. I’ve checked through his phone( I know, but whatever) like literally everything. Every app, every deleted messages, every back up I can do, everything and there’s no sign of cheating. So now I’m curious if anyone else’s man literally shits for an hour or if it’s just mine. And does it seem like there’s more he might be doing or just really sitting there for an hour shitting and scrolling TikTok?? Sometimes it drives me crazy bc this morning for example, wakes up later than he usually does, then is now taking his 40 minutes long bathroom break then will have to immediately get ready for work and leave. Like 0 time together before he leaves for work, then when he gets home he always has to smoke and then go shit for another 40 min-1 hour. Like please tell me others have this problem with their partner and it’s not just me.

Mine does too, claims he has ibs? Or some bacteria thing? from military travel

He could just be scrolling and taking time to decompress.

Im thinking he's just on his phone scrolling or playing a game

Feed him fiber and water. I think guys have less fiber in their diet so they poop longer. There's hilarious videos on Instagram how long men poop for it's not just yours but it is annoying.

Avatar

Yes my guy also takes the longest bathroom breaks ever🙄 so annoying for the same reasons

Mine does this too. I think they all do. I think it’s a way to avoid the responsibility in the house honestly. I tried to pull this on him a few times and he didn’t like it very much but even when I did it I couldn’t stay in the bathroom more than 20 mins. They just doom scroll and watch videos.

My ex's brother did but he was just scrolling lol I dated someone wayyy back that would be in the bathroom a long time. Once in the middle of the night I had to pee and was so tired I guess I didn't realize but the door wasn't locked.. he was passed out on the toilet and I was like wtf right? So it kept happening and way later after we broke up I spoke with his sister and she let me know he was actually in jail for drugs. So he was in the bathroom high af on whatever I dunno. I'm not saying your guy is doing that but it just never would have been an option in my mind. I think if he's legit sitting on the pot that long he should get a colonoscopy and check for polyps and hemorrhoids. Could be dangerous. Plus the Dr would have suggestions for diet etc to help with his gut.

Mine does this too, He gets home from work and goes straight to the bathroom. I hear him watching videos in there though so he’s probably scrolling through IG. I do think this is there way to decompress and have time to themselves before they have to help with the kiddos.

I think all men in this generation do it. They're just scrolling on their phones. My husband used to do this but then he learned that it puts stress on the colon and can cause issues like hemorrhoids. Maybe just tell your guy this

Changing poopy diaper

I’m not sure where to post this.

I work at a daycare and I am currently with the infants and one of my kids that I care for has some really bad smelling diapers. I don’t have a problem changing poopy diapers until this lo. I gag and have to stop myself from throwing up. What should I do? I’ve only had to change him once and every other time someone else has done it but I’m the lead teacher this week and I’m not sure what to do.

How can I get my mom to understand she needs to help with my kids?

I have twins who are 5 years old. My daughter is developing fairly normally, she's just slightly behind. My son has had serious health problems since birth and has struggled with growth, mobility, and is several years behind on all milestones. He does not speak, walks very poorly, cannot climb steps ect. My mom does not visit or help in any capacity. The children really do not understand that she's someone of any importance. They treat her with as much excitement as the grocery store checkout employee. I am in great need for rest, a second set of hands, babysitting coverage when my son is regularly hospitalized. I see everyone else with grandparents who take their grandkids for the weekend because they want to, buy them gifts, get excited to see them, take them to activities such as the park or for a meal, enjoy photographs of them, attend their achievements and activities. My mom their only grandparent has never done any of this. She lives 20 mins away and drives well. So distance or transportation is not an excuse. She is also a millionaire so it's not a financial problem. She does not contribute financially to help with her absence as a grandparent. I am exhausted to the point that I'm unsure how I will continue most of the time. I have asked her to help many many times. It's always no. She also expects me to drive her to appointments, arrange her appointments ect when she's fully capable of doing it herself. I do not have time or energy for any if this. When she does come to my home she brings bags and bags of expired food, expired formula when the babies were little, extremely worn used kids clothes that are usually completely incorrect sizes or for wrong seasons and broken toys. All of this makes a lot of work for me. I'm already beyond the garbage allowance I can throw out at my apartment every week because of medical garbage so I have to pay to have this junk removed. Most of it is not good enough to donate anywhere and even then the sorting takes up time and energy I do not have. I can't feed the kids expired food or things they do not want to eat. I've asked her over and over again to stop bringing this shit but it continues. I'm just so sad and wish I had some support.

Not feeling excited..?

I am currently 37 + 2 and labour day is coming soon. I am not feeling very excited tbh, feel sad that my child free days are over, that my life will never be the same again and worrying that I’ll be a bad parent (and an anxious parent too).

I’ve been with my partner for 6 years, we own a house together and generally speaking we have a lot of support however I’m also concerned he isn’t growing up enough because of the support and dependency (from his family) and lack of maturity around what it’s actually going to be like having a baby. I fear he is too positive about it all and to be quite honest that really annoys me.

I’m not sleeping, I don’t feel supported and I am so uncomfortable in this heat. Ironically, the physical aspects of birth don’t worry me too much it’s just everything else!

Can someone please sense check me and tell me everything is going to be okay?!?

How many country's have you visited?

How many countries have you been to?

Before having kids it was a goal of mine to visit every country in the world.

So far I have been to 31 countries. The crazy part is I didn't even have money back then to travel, but some how god or law of attraction made it happen.

Since having a child I haven't travelled much.

I'm just curious what your travel history is like and if travel slowed down after kids.

Daycare

How long did it take you guys to send your babies to daycare, if you did so.

I’m 5 weeks pp and financially not the best and might just return to work sooner then I wished. But I’m scared of giving him to someone else for a few hours considering he can’t speak and defend his self
