Travelling abroad with 4 month old…

I am a FTM thinking about booking a little holiday with my 3 month old (will be 4 months when travelling), by plane. I am trying to look for the best travel stroller that would suit him at that age and also be compact enough to be able to bring to the airport/plane. Any suggestions would be appreciated 🙏🏼

I took my baby away when he was 4 months and I took a zummi explorer from Smyths I think it was around £100 its folds up easy with just one button and it’s very light weight I honestly like it more than my silver cross 🥲 however it goes under the cabin but u can use it up until the steps and they have them waiting at the bottom of the step when you get off if you want one that can go in the overhead the silvercross clic is meant to be a good one xx

We used Tiny Explorers to rent a travel stroller for our holiday. Really recommend it as you can basically try before you buy! We’ve been on two holidays with my baby boy and tried a different brand each time. Probably will just end up renting again tbh! 🩵

Renting is a great idea if it’s only for holiday. I ended up going with the cosatto yo which lies flat and can also go in cabin (although some airlines still make you check it at the gate )

Joolz aer2, stokke yoyo or silver cross nia all of these have a newborn attachment that is parent facing and cabin approved too, you can get car seat adaptors for them all too to use as a travel system if you’re planning on taking your car seat x

You dont need to buy a new one… best is to have Baby in the Carrier at the airport and flight because it is super stressful and they easily overstimulate.
Drop off the pram is mich easier and less Hassel in my opinion.

Also get hearing Protection, keep nap schedule, bring Snacks for you and extra Outfit for you both.

Feeling judged.. co sleeping

So my relative is having a party soon in the evening and I've sent my apologies. Im breastfeeding and co sleeping my 10 month old. She feeds 3 times in night too. My sisters are being judgemental and making me feel bad saying I can't live my life like this e.g. never going out in the evening etc. I don't actually mind how it is right now. They dont think its right we sleep in bed together and that I NEED to get her in her own room. I feel like lying and telling them she does sometimes just to appease them. Why do people make you feel guilty for doing what works for you. Ive tried to get her in crib but she wont go. I also dont want to give her to anyone for babysitting yet. I don't feel ready. Just wanted to vent really.. feel a bit low
Edit: also only naps on me in day and they again think im being stupid but I am trying

Mum Guilt

Hi 🫶🏻

Last night I snapped at my 16 month old daughter she was not settling or going to sleep I was exhausted and had work the next morning she eventually fell asleep at 12am she was fighting her sleep for ages. I just got so irritated and snappy I felt like I just had to put her down and leave the room cos of how mad I was getting. Is this normal.

As soon as she fell asleep I cried myself to sleep and I felt so awful for how I had reacted.
:( I still feel it this morning

Single parents bedtime with 2

Please help me how are we doing this? I have a nearly 3 year old and a nearly 1 year old and every single bedtime is a shit show. My toddler won’t sleep without me next to him and my baby won’t sleep without being rocked, I’m just at breaking point I look forward to my evenings so much it’s the only opportunity I have for me time and I never get chance cause it’s just carnage for hours back and forth between rooms one will wake up when I leave to go to the other and I just can’t take it anymore any tips?

Sleep Overs

I can’t be the only one who feels this way - I keep getting pressured by grandparents for my 6 1/2 month old to stay the night with them. She’s still an infant? Theres no reason she needs to stay the night away from us? But they keep making me feel so guilty we say no

Oh I’m over this heatwave (for my baby)

I kid you not from around 3:30PM today until now (7:10pm) I have been cluster feeding and my son has not come off the breast for more than 10 minutes!

I usually love summer but doing this year with a newborn I’m ready for it to be finished 😭🙅🏾‍♀️
