Am I wrong to rely solely on my kids dad to watch them when In need?

A little background but my bd and I don’t have a set schedule whatsoever when it comes to visitation for our kids although I do have all 3 of them most of the time to myself. Now I don’t have much of a village to help me with my kids so I feel as though he should be the one to watch his kids for obvious reasons he’s the only other person that’s solely responsible for them. I rarely ever go out and have time for myself and usually when I ask him to watch them it’s bc I just need a breather where I’m not constantly needed by one of the kids or have to be somewhere like a doctor visit etc. Am I wrong for not finding someone to watch the kids that’s not him?

Not at all. Those are his kids so he should be the secondary caregiver if y'all aren't together. Even with me being married, I want my husband to watch my son if I have an appointment or need to be somewhere because that's HIS son too.

Failure or just exhaustion?

I’m really struggling today and could use some coping tips or reassurance from anyone who’s been here

I’ve got three children, and my youngest (2 month old) has reflux (which they are having medication for) and is a very sicky, clingy baby. Most days I’m covered in sick or smelling of it, they rarely settle unless on me, and sometimes not even then. I feel like I’m constantly “on” and never get a moment to catch a breath to reset

Today my partner said he’s struggle to know how to help and although senses how overwhelmed I am the second he walks in the door he doesn’t know what to do. He said he takes on my emotions and feels the heaviness in the house when I’ve had a tough day. Hearing that has made me question everything. Am I failing? Am I making my whole house feel low?
I’ve admitted to him I feel like I’m not handling this as well as I thought I would have.

If you’ve been through this, juggling a baby who needs you constantly while trying to keep the home feeling calm, how did you cope and stay grounded? How did you stop the overwhelm from spilling into everything?

I don’t want to be overwhelmed all the time. I love my kids so much, but I’m finding it hard to cope with the relentlessness of a refluxy, clingy newborn while trying to be present for the older two. I feel stretched thin and like I’m not doing a good job for anyone.

Any advice, routines, mindset shifts, or even just solidarity would mean the world right now

Would u be irritated? Bf goes to get breakfast because I’m hungry and don’t feel good and only comes back with a chai…. So I end up making my own anyways.

I didn’t say anything and just bit my tongue on the situation

Crisps

My baby is 16 months and eats crips from the baby isle between 6+m and 12m+ I’m just wondering when and what crips you decided to go onto afterwards as I have the baby ones so much more expensive but also aware of the salt intake and additives in other crisps

UGHHHHHH

Guys, so my husband decided to put our son to sleep, but while he was still on his lap he decided to play PS5. My son woke up so my husband called me to put him to sleep. At this point I’m already annoyed cuz why couldn’t you just wait to put him down first? While I’m putting him to sleep he’s still playing games and getting annoyed that he’s losing which is distracting my son so I’m struggling to put him down. Once he was done with playing (I’m still struggling to put my son to sleep) he says “didn’t play as much as I want but it’ll do, I’m going to sleep”. My blood is boiling. Am I overreacting? I feel like I’m going insane.

Is it damaging to make a child finish their food?

We are having so many problems with our 3 year old at meal times. She doesn’t want to finish her food, comes up with every excuse under the sun (need the loo, my tummy hurts, I’m too tired). Admittedly I’ve done exactly what my parents did … always said “finish your meal please” or “3 more bites” or “no treats if this isn’t eaten”. She’ll refuse a meal and then ask for snacks or treats 10 mins later. Am I actually damaging her relationship with food?
