Hi my baby is 11 weeks old, she’s a really good sleeper at night (7-9hrs) and is pretty consistent with day time naps as well, she feeds well and is generally pretty content- however today she has been unusually sleepy, quite difficult to wake up and when she’s awake she just screaming and spitting up clear and chunky, she’s been toileting like normal and she’s had most of her feeds but they are taking ages as she just falls asleep whilst feeding (current feed she’s done 1/3 of it and started 45 mins ago and has been asleep for 20 mins) I have taken her temperature and it’s 35.9 so I called 111 and they said she’s awake and looks fine so don’t worry and it could be the start of a viral infection but might be nothing - I’m not happy with this as this is unusual for her but has anyone else had a day like this with their little ones, or do I need to escalate again

Monitor her temp but my son always slept unusually much when it was warm and again when it cooled down. He still does now and he's almost 3. Try keep a log of how much they are eating and when. Eg: Offered 9oz / drank 4oz for example and also log wet nappies and poop. As if she is unwell and you have to take her drs or anything they'll ask all this so it's good to know for sure. And also then you'll know when they're back to normal and taking what they should and when their nappies are normal. It just means they aren't dehydrated if they are weeing enough and frequently enough ect x
