My daughter is 2 weeks, I have been combo feeding. However with breast milk the supply is thin and not filling and I don’t know how much she gets when she latches on so I began to express. However, I have started to be less consitent with

Expressing and my boobs are starting to feel sore as I have supply. What shall I do as sometimes when I should be expressing I am either sleeping or not releasing? I either stay on top of it or how does my supply completely lessen without feeling sore?

I’m 5 weeks postpartum and in the exact same position. I have no clue what to do and I wanted to exclusively breastfeed but I can’t because it’s just not enough and 40 minutes on the breast pump only gives about 30ml or less.

The only thing that really helped me with that is mothers milk if not producing enough it’s a tea it’s really good for your supply and your gut, but if it’s being sore like you feels you still have some trapped in there, you could be using the wrong Falange size, I know I messed up and was using the wrong one for the LONGEST time, and it caused a lot of soreness and redness in the nipple and not enough let down so soreness everywhere, a lot of breast feeding moms also have elastic nipples (I know I sure did) so sometimes you have to re measure every once and a while, but most importantly give yourself some grace hun you’re still learning (hell we all are) be patient with yourself you aren’t supposed to know everything ❤️

Are you letting your LO sleep through the night yet?

We’ve been feeding at 11, 3 and 7 currently. We set an alarm for the 3am and feed him. I set an alarm for 7 and just wait until he wakes up which is anywhere between 6:30 and 8:30. At what point were they missing the middle feed?

My November baby (24:11:25) has only just started sitting, not enough to be left alone sitting but he’s close he can roll both ways confidently but I’m worried he’s behind, I see everyone else baby crawling standing extra and he’s just not interested any advice?

Struggling

Don’t want to be a Downer or rant but i feel like everything is really hard constantly. My baby’s 5 months and she had colic when young so months 1-3 were HARD then I thought things got better but since 4 months I can’t lie I’ve been so depressed I feel my baby is constantly winging , I try to get out cause I’m overstimulated but she just cries in her pushchair and wants to get out at home I feel she’s bored and lost interest in everything she had been interacting with. She sleeps through the night but I still find myself not sleeping and crying everyday, I wake up dreading the day and feel so guilty cause everyone I speak to absolutely loves motherhood and doesn’t seem to have any issues with there little ones , I feel like I’m failing , I was just waking up and getting on with it everyday but it’s getting to the point where I literally don’t feel like I can keep doing it everyday. I feel guilty that I’m not enjoying it like everyone else does don’t get me wrong there’s days and moments I love but I’m just so tired , I lost so many friends after having a baby , lost my job, lost doing the things I used to enjoy and I feel like now she’s 5 months no one checks in anymore or takes me seriously , I feel more lonely and like it’s harder than it’s ever been. Please tell me there’s other mums that feel like this cause I always see ppl saying how amazing everything is and wonder why I’m not feeling the same. At what age does it get better , if it does

How would yall respond to this?

I’m scheduled for an induction Tuesday and my baby isn’t even here yet and I already have family making plans to come in town to see the baby, my family member texted me this :
“Hey, baby. Me & my husband are coming to see y'all next month, September 16th-20th! Can't wait to see y'all and DemBabies!”

I’m not even sure how my delivery will be like or my healing process, i already told immediate family I will not be having visitors at the hospital or at home until we are ready but I’m a little confused on how to respond to this message because it sounds like they already booked a flight or something? I don’t even plan on announcing when he is born because I’m not stressing over these people atp. I find it kinda rude them making dates and plans without even asking me. They never met my 2 year old so I guess they are excited but not even asking if I’m cool with visitors is just too much rn.
