Views on a situation please!

So me and my partner have been together 6 years, engaged for 3, baby girl who is now 19 months old.

Living situation me and my daughter live with my parents but my partner lives on his RAF Base / his parents on a weekend when he comes home ( Friday to Sunday ).

We put an application form in for RAF Base Housing months ago. Nothing thinking we would be offered one due to not being married yet.

Yesterday ( Monday ) we got an email to say we have been offered a 3 Bed house. The only issue is we are currently in gloucester, but the house on the base we have been offered is 2 hours away from home / work / nurseries for me.

I’ve been wanting to leave my current job for a while now as it’s slowly just getting worse and enjoyable anymore.

I’ve told my parents and they’ve said there happy for me to move out the only concern they have is the distance off the house we have been offered which I completely agree with.

I don’t know how I feel about being that far away from my family…

What would you do in my situation?

I feel like it’s worth the move if you don’t like your job and your baby is a little older now. It will be good for you all to live together as a family. If it doesn’t work out I’m sure your parents would welcome you back immediately but maybe just be honest with everyone about your concerns x

Sex vent

I’d say me and my partner have sex maybe once a week. But it’s almost always a quickie and I rarely get off, and we only do it when he initiates it. He used to always work to get me off before but never does anymore..
Anytime I try to initiate it, try to kiss him and/or ask for it it’s always “I’m too tired” or “I have a cold”.. we used to have sex all of the time, until I got pregnant then it became rare because it put him off and freaked him out. I have a 4 yo and our son is 7 months old. I feel like we don’t have it as much as I’d like to, which has been brought up plenty of times but there’s been no action. We only have sex on a quick early morning/late night or if we’ve had an argument. It’s really starting to bum me out and feel unwanted and unattractive… I’ve gained a bit of weight since pregnancy that I’m trying to lose and affects my confidence in the bedroom and being naked.
I just don’t know what to do, I wouldn’t make him do anything he didn’t want to but I suppose I just needed to vent. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? Or is anyone else in the same boat? How could you overcome it?

I miss my husband

My husband and I have been together for 11 years and married for 5. He is my middle school sweetheart and the only boy I’ve ever dated. We had our son back in April. Since we’ve been married we’ve always had a good sex life, but since I got pregnant, it has changed a lot. I had a horrendous pregnancy so that was why we couldn’t do it much then. Now we’re just so busy taking care of the baby we don’t have time to spend together anymore. We haven’t had sex in almost 3 weeks. We can hardly even have a meal together at dinner because of the baby screaming. I can’t say enough good things about my husband as a husband and father. He is definitely not an issue here. He is absolutely amazing. I just miss us. I miss him even though we’re in the same house every day. Can someone please tell me it’s not always going to be this way and it gets better?

Sex… who’s still having it?

I’m 36 and a bit weeks with second baby. Haven’t had sex since about 31/32 weeks, I just feel enormous and unattractive and heavy. Even the thought of manoeuvring my body into the right positions makes me feel tired 😴

However I know I won’t be able to have sex for a MINIMUM of 6 weeks post birth and that’s even if I want to. I think it was more like 10-12 weeks after having my first (I had an episiotomy and stitches so I was terrified)

I love my husband very much and I do feel a bit sorry for him, he’s always telling me how much he’s attracted to me and how much pregnancy makes me so desirable etc. I almost feel like I “should” have sex with him because he wants it and it’s the honourable thing to do for him (and because I know it’ll feel good once we get going). I can probably count on two hands how many times we’ve had sex this whole pregnancy and I do feel a bit guilty / a bit bad for him. He never nags me, he understands when / why I say no and backs off, he’s very courteous and understanding.

Anyone else in the same position?
