Breastfed baby taking a bottle

Has anyone had any luck getting a breastfed baby to take a bottle after 4/5 months?
Any tips or bottle recommendations would be appreciated x

Following as having the same problem. EBF baby not taking one at 3 months (only done a handful of bottles in the past at 1 and 2 months. He doesn’t seem to know what to do with the bottle, just sits there and grins at us with it in his mouth

It’s a skill that has to be learnt. At this age they’ve lost the sucking reflex so it’s a bit more difficult. At 4/5 months I’d probably try a sippy cup rather than a bottle you’re more likely to have success x

Milk supply

Please tell me your positive supply stories and things that actually helped. Currently 6 weeks PP. Seeing results with regular pumping (5 per 24 hours) and Domperidone but still a long way off full supply, hoping there’s still a chance to keep increasing output.

How to settle night wakings without feeding

My EBF baby responds very well to feeds overnight to fall straight back asleep after waking. I’m conscious this isn’t a long term solution and we need a way of settling him without feeding.

He won’t take a dummy, patting/ hand on chest/shushing etc in crib doesn’t settle him. If I get him out of his crib he’s still distressed and I have to walk around with him for a long time and often still end up needing to feed him to get him back to sleep.

It’s especially hard at night as i also need my sleep and it’s far easier and quicker to quick feed and back to sleep.

Any advice on how I can settle overnight without the feeds?

Hayden Panettiere😥

This is just super sad but I think it's important to talk about. Hayden passed yesterday & her daughter is 8 years old. Hayden struggled with substances (I believe before she had her daughter, no offense. I've been a big fan since I was 6 years old lol)

What makes me really sad is she didn't have a normal upbringing with her mom. She was forced to do commercials at 10 months old. I can only imagine how her mother tended to her. She was thrown into the screens of acting before being consistently put in gigs for commercials, & once she got a big one that was it for her mom. She forced her to act relentlessly. Whether they got the job or not.

3 months ago she wrote her autobiography & idk honestly if she's truly honest in it. Idk if she knew that how she was raised with such little endearment, love, time to be such a small human.. idk if she ever connected it. It honestly breaks my heart.

So I'm wondering, do you think she passed from addi***** or do you think it was a long time trickle effect of how she was raised? She gave her daughter up to the father early on due to her issues she battled with. I'm not here to state she's a monster, I am just so sad she wasn't whole when she passed. Truly.

I personally believe that we are a product of who raised us, & that is what ultimately lead to her d**** 😢😭 I bet she wasn't loved or consoled even for bumping her head as a toddler that we would even stop to hold ours for a moment, I bet her mom let her cry it out for hours at a time & I bet she hurt her/ disciplined/ scared her into making her an actress. It's so sad. But I think what hurts most is idk if she ever knew that/ wanted to cross that bridge either. & maybe that's why she chased another reality? It makes absolute sense why she didn't fight custody and gave it right away.. so sad.

My mom died yesterday

My wedding should have been today. But I postponed, because a week ago my mom had a stroke. It feels like my entire life imploded, I don't feel like I'm in my body. The grief is so unbearable I'm either needing to have the tv on as I do something else, or I'm just staring off. The pain is worse than anything I've ever felt, I truly cannot fathom life without her here. I'm beyond heartbroken.

I'm hoping some other people who've lost a parent can share some encouragement. Right now there's no light at the end of the tunnel.

Newborn side sleeping

Any thoughts? My baby girl is 5 weeks old. I always lay her flat on her back in the cot but she wiggles her way to the edge to shove her face on the side, she also sleeps on her side. Should I be concerned?
